"Very well," the woman says.
She stands up, picks up a long branch, and draws a five-pointed star on the ground.
"Step inside the pentagram," she says.
You do so, even though you feel a little foolish. She returns to her drum and pounds out a beat. You sit down on the ground. The beat grows louder, but it also lulls you into a doze.
You jerk awake with a start. You're sitting on a grassy plain, facing a tall tower. The tiger is sitting in front of the door.
