Your face turns bright red, and you swallow hard as you say, "O-okay, I'll... I'll be your mate..."

But then he surprises you with his response.  "I don't want you to feel like you're being forced into this.  If you are seriously against it, I won't hold it against you.  Do you want some time to think about it?"

You shake your head.  "N-no.  It's just, I'd like to get to know you before we... you know."

He laughs, takes your hand and start wandering throughout the village.  "Sure thing.  What do you want to know?"
