You make up your mind quickly, the damage these bandits may deal is regrettable but letting them get away after attacking a village would only encourage more raids. "We're moving around and cutting off their retreat!" you yell to the men who followed you. You count 11 heads, in various steps of getting dressed. They look awake and ready for action tho.
You swiftly run around and position yourself on the sole exit the bandits can use to flee en masse with their bounty. Obviously, they left a bunch of guards there to secure their retreat. There's over 20 bandits and they see you the moment you round the corner. Head-on battle seems inevitable.
