You both head across the hall to the snow leopard's office. She beckons to the chair in front of her desk. "Give me just a few minutes. I need to type something up." She then focuses on her computer.
You take a moment to look around the office. As you saw before, there are several short piles of papers on the desk, and various promotional posters on her walls. There are also several awards on the wall behind her, a business license document in a frame next to the door, and two filing cabinets in the corner behind you. This really is just a plain old office, you think to yourself.
A few minutes later, the nearby printer starts up and spits out a small sheaf of papers, which Barbara sets on her desk to review. Satisfied, she then looks up to you and smiles.
