Though you should get up, you don't find the desire in you to do so. Meeting new people is overrated anyway. Turning around and placing a pillow over your head, you go back to sleep within seconds. However, as soon as you closed your eyes it seemed as if you were awoken again.
"Wilson!" the voice said harshly while pushing you. "Wake up, you are late for school!"
Groaning, you glare up to none other than your adoptive father. The moment you realized they weren't your blood and flesh, you grew to feel as if you were truly alone because that meant they were actually human while you weren't.
"Can't you just let me sleep in the day..." you groan, attempting to turn over but only for the mischievous sunlight slicing into your room and over your eyes.
"No, you have school." your father says sternly.
