After you pay him respects, Gary dismisses you with his usual disdain and go back to the passionate conversation he is having with a beautiful blonde seating on his lap.
You walk around the VIP section. Five other vampires are hanging around looking dark and powerful. None of them is older than 50. This is how Gary loves it. He needs a court of young vampire around him to flatter his oversized ego. If he has remained in power for the last 40 years it’s only because the other powerful vampires of the town have let him. He doesn’t really have the support of the elders in New York yet he is their representative and therefore you have to respect him, answer when he calls you, do his bidding, etc.
Mina is nowhere to be seen, she paid her respects to Gary before you and you have lost her track. No human seems to be available for a bite. You leave for the main room where you might find more interesting preys.
