Your gray shirt has been shredded. It's enough to keep you decent but not enough to protect you back from the sun or sand. You get up and head for the forest. Your soggy pants are ripped at the knees and are held up by a belt of thickly woven cord. You finger comb your wet hair out of your face as you walk.
Mincing your way carefully up the hot sandy beach, you notice that you're barefoot. You should probably find or make some shoes soon since there's no telling what you might encounter in the jungle. You've never seen palm trees this tall before, nor have you seen trees growing this close together before. You guess you must have either come from a colder climate or an urbanized area. The dense undergrowth of ferns, mushrooms, and fallen palm fronds conceal a multitude of dangers for your unprotected feet. What do you do?
