"Sappre, do us a favour and use one of the decon units. They should still work."
Sappre leaves the comm and opens the unit at the far end on the left. After a momentary pause he gets inside and shuts the door a little too firmly.
Suddenly a screen on the far wall flashes to life. It says 1 of 20 complete. Well, there are twenty of you to get through, but it seems to be working. For safety, everyone uses the same unit. After everyone else has used that decon unit the screen shows 19/20. When you approach, though, a light flashes on it showing that it is out of the Gulry spray needed for removing certain virus particles. It refuses to decontaminate you (not that there is anything wrong with you, it just thinks there is).
