As the mob largely begins to attempt to force its way past the wall, you creep around the side, following a narrow path between the castle and a steep slope which descends into the thick forest below. By the time you reach the opposite end of the wall a few minutes later, you have not found anything else of note.

Squweak!

The harsh noise pierces the distant shouting of the mob. Looking up, you detect something relatively small swooping towards you from high in the air, although it is too dark to see exactly what.

Do you:

• Run
• Turn around and run
• Prepare to swat the thing with your pitchfork
• Prepare to catch the thing with your bag of cabbages
