YOU (Angrily): Look, Pal, I just woke up with a splitting headache and an intercom lady yelling at me. I'm tired, confused, and I think I may have accidentally fallen into Gears of War. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?
MAN: Yeah. Damn, sorry, I forgot this is all new to you. I'm Jacob Taylor. I've been stationed here for-
MECH (Exasperated): STOP TALKING WHEN I'M SHOOTING AT YOU.
JACOB: Damn!
Bullets erupt around you as you dive into cover. Jacob pops out and blows a MECHS' head off with a well-aimed shot. Luckily, they're on a veranda separated from you by a convenient BOTTOMLESS PIT, so you have time to talk while they shoot at you futilely. God knows how the SCIENTISTS ever got around the place with all these CHEST-HIGH WALLS and PITS in their way.
JACOB: Things must be worse than I thought if Miranda's got you running around the place. I guess you've got a lot of questions, but you should probably keep it quick.
