Your Dog has been your very faithful companion over many years, having seen you through the best of times and the worst of times, and the strangest of times. When you broke up with the love of your life after catching them cheating, Your Dog was of great comfort to you, and you know s/he is as glad as you are that that cheating piece of crap is dead and gone. And you know s/he is as depressed as you are every human being you love is gone too.
You wouldn't know how to go on in a world without any other living person without him/her. You know s/he'll always be there for you.
