You stop to catch your breath in the middle of the river. The Elvin glides forwards, twin blades slicing together. You waste no time, and rush straight for her throat.

The Elvin gasps her last as you run her through.

As you wipe your sword on the tunic of the dead creature you see a second creature gesturing to something behind you. Wait – weren’t there three creatures by the river-bank before?

A moment later, something strikes you on the back of the head.

Then everything goes black.

When you wake up, you are tied up on the floor of a hut. And you are not alone. Nearby, you hear the scuffle of many feet.
