Ser Kassius (Fantasy Creatures)

You realise it was the elf, Ser Kassius, who'd been staring. You wonder if you perhaps had something on your armour. You look down at yourself, then realise you never placed your helmet back on your head. That must have been why he was looking. You carefully return your helmet to your head, attempting to make as little noise as possible. You glance back at the elf. You watch as he breaks his gaze on you once again. If he's still looking, there must be something more. Doesn't matter. No one else has noticed whatever it is, so it can't be that bad.
Once the assembly ends, you realise that you could easily ask the elf why he was staring. As the Knights scatter, you approach him. As he exits the hall, you grab him by the shoulder. He turns to face you.
"I saw you staring," you say.
"You did?" he replies. "Staring isn't forbidden, Lord Commander."
"I just want to know why."
"The previous Fifth Commander and I had an arrangement. I'm trying to judge whether you'd be up for it. I'm hoping."
"What sort of an arrangement?"
"I could show you. Meet me behind the stables as soon as you get a free moment."
You nod. "I'll see if I can."
Kassius breaks away from you at that, leaving you to see to your new duties as Fifth Commander. You head to the Fifth Office, which is to be yours. You'll likely find little to do until tomorrow, so you simply find your way there, then sit down at your new desk. You realise that now is as good a time as any to discover what Kassius meant. You could go to the stables to find him.
