Go into the side room and finish the zombie off

You race into the side room. The zombie is directly ahead of you, slowly shuffling away. You send a crossbow bolt into the back of its head.
Suddenly, you hear zombie growls all around you. You're surrounded! How could the zombies set a trap for you?! They aren't supposed to be that clever!
You don't have time to think about that, however. You draw your pistol and begin shooting, managing to take out several zombies before the rest swarm you and have lunch.
