Don't mind Platypus, he can be a bit of a bear with a sore tooth sometimes. I recommend just starting your own story or contributing to one of the other ones. Honestly, I started my own because I was afraid of doing something wrong. I still do not really contribute to his stories because even though I have been around for a while, I still feel I will get the warning that my writing is not up to the right standards. Some thoughts for you to consider:
- If you start your own story, it is your story. Even if you allow others to contribute to it, is it your story. If you choose to edit or delete something someone else contributes to your story, you can do so. I have been working, off and on, on Smutty Sex Romp and Rampage for many years. So yes, I consider them my stories. I am very particular about who I allow to post in my stories, and I will delete anything that isn’t up to my standards.
- If you want to write, you need a thicker skin than you seem to have. Whatever you write, it will be subject to criticism. If a note about your punctuation is enough to set you off, you may want to reconsider putting your writing out in public.
- If you post something on this site, even if you blank it out later, it’s still available to be read. If you post something on someone’s talk page, they’ll be alerted that you’ve posted something. As the sysop, I can delete something permanently, but since you can’t, you might want to think twice about posting some things.
- My sysop title isn’t just a title. It does give me extra abilities that ordinary users don’t have, such as the ability to delete pages or ban users. I hope I won’t need to employ those abilities against you. I am asking not to post in my stories. I hope that you can respect my request and either post in one of the many, many other stories here or even start your own story.
