You slowly shuffle your way out of your bedroom. Wonderful smells are wafting their way up from the kitchen as you head down the stairs.

"Good morning sleepy head!" Your mother says beaming at you.

You smile at mom then rub your eye, still trying to wake up.

Dad is reading at the table in his boxers. Mom is wearing an apron but is still in her nightgown.

"Is breakfast ready, Mom?"

"Not yet sweetie. I just started, but we'll be able to eat soon."

You nod and twist the bottom of your nightie in your hands. What should you do to pass the time?

• Go sit on Daddy's lap
• Ask Mom if you can help make breakfast.
• Stay with Mom and play with her while she cooks.
• Go back upstairs to wake up your brother or sister.
• Your tummy is hungry! Sit at the table and chow down.
