"Hello boy. How you doing? What position do you play? Did you play in high school?" the coach shoots at you in a giant sentence.
"Good. Point Guard. Yes, all four years varsity," you reply, answering the questions in order. Lies, of course, but more believable than the truth, that you were a hideous thing in high school.
"Well, tryouts are on Friday at 5:00pm right after football, then Saturday at 8:00pm," he tells you, patting you on the shoulder.
"Okay, thanks."
