You follow him away from the footprints and into the white, empty Antarctic wasteland. A few minutes later, it begins to snow. The storm rapidly erupts into a full-fledged blizzard. You and Mike try to find your way back, but in the whiteout conditions it is impossible.
Neither of you are ever seen again.
