You duck down into the grate. She holds her breath in suspense as you drop down a few feet. The puppy walks right into your hands. You place it inside of your sweatshirt's hood and climb up the wall using bricks that are loose. You squirm out and hand the girl her puppy.
"Thank you so much!" she exclaims. "Here's my number. Call me sometime."
