You are, along with the other prisoners, marched past the crowds of spectators, before stopping at the golden doors, almost as tall as the Labyrinth walls and easily ten times as tall as yourself. It takes over twenty guards to push it open, and as you are dragged through the opening, you know that once the door is shut and locked behind you, its not opening until next year's Labyrinth Games.
A guard appears behind you, removing the collar, gag and chains around your legs and arms.
You are left wearing a plain white tunic, given a pair of sandals and handed a linen sack. Looking into the sack, you find; Three apples, two bottles of water, a loaf of bread and a plain iron dagger, the blade ending in a sharp point.
Looking up you find that the guards have left and have almost finished closing the gate behind you, and many of your fellow prisoners are making their way down the corridor in front of you.
