You decide to pay a visit to your father's study room. You can't remember the last time you really had a talk with your father. You left home for college at 18 and after that, have never really sat down to talk to the man again.

You nudge his door open and he looks up at you from his glasses. You observe his study and note that it's just like you remembered; neat, covered with bookshelves, with the desk facing the doorway. There's a few leather seats there, placed facing his desk for when clients visit him at home. He doesn't say anything as you look around like a tourist. Your focus comes back to your father as you observe him.

He's 5'11” with a strong jaw and a swimmer's body. You remember he used to swim a lot and used to paddle boats for the Harvard team. His summer tan is fading, giving him light golden skin. You remember that he's a good lawyer and a convincing man who wins the majority of his cases.

As you stare at him, he raises an eyebrow at you.

“Yes, Kevin?” He asks in his deep voice.

You tell him nothing and avert your eyes, once again pacing the room, eying at his many important-looking books. You turn around to see the sunlight hit your father through the window. The added light seem to iron out his aging wrinkles and you see what a stud your father must have been in his prime.
