You really need this job and want to finish this project, so you decide to let the poor bastard walk. The next day he calls you into his office for your usual heart to heart. He starts crying and confesses it all to you. You don't know what to do or how to react so you just listen. He talks for over an hour, detailing the entire story of how it happened, etc. At the end, he wonders why you didn't turn him in. You say that you know everyone makes mistakes and has skeletons in their closet. He thanks you for your honesty then pulls a gun on you and shoots you the head before shooting himself. You both die instantly. You should have gone with your gut instinct and turned this crazy fool in, now you are dead. That sucks.
