You punch Fred in the arm and tell him some fresh air will do him good. None of that lazing around nonsense before going out to drink. After the laundry is done and a quick lunch, the two of you head out to the park. You have a backpack with extra clothes, but you are wearing your running gear: classic runner's shorts with an inner lining and a slit up the side for mobility, a tight "dry-fit" style shirt, and a cloth headband to keep the sweat out of your eyes. When you get to the park, you give the backpack to Fred and tell him you'll be back in 35-40 minutes (you're running 5 miles today). He shrugs, strips off his shirt and saunters over to the "Park Pond Beach" in the center of the park. You always thought the town municipal workers weren't the most clever and that seems to confirm it.

As you are traveling on your run, you don't see a lot of people out today. Just because it's your day off doesn't mean it's a weekend and the lunch crowd has already dispersed for the day. You do, however, see a very small squirrel girl who is also running the short path around the park. You are lucky that your stride is so much longer because it means you get to lap her multiple times and can admire her bushy tail and pert buttocks that flex and bounce with each step as she runs. There is also a female bear who appears to be a bit older than you, maybe in her late 30's, who is reading a book on a bench. You notice that she is giving you the once-, twice-, and thrice-over every time you pass. You also can't help but notice that she is large in all the right places, as bears naturally are.
