Missing category

Sorry Platypus, I've been trying to make sure I'm putting categories on all my pages - either I've missed some or I haven't been doing it right the whole time! Seems I'm not the only one who's been having trouble with this... I'll look into it before I continue my story, but if you could point out exactly where I've gone wrong that would help a lot! --baercalanie 12:53, 7 July (EST)

Hey Platypus, you replied to my story. I'm still new at this, so you want to help me with my story?--Nousherwan

Sorry about that, still new at this. Thanks for the fix. --Sisauq 16:31, 2 April 2011 (UTC)

I'll start to add categories in the future as well, feel free to help edit my story. I could use someone whos a "grammar nazi" --BFEL 19:47, 2 April 2011 (UTC)

Hey, Platypus. You've been sending me messages about categories and i'm sorry because i'm new at this. Please tell me how to make a category in every page. I will not continue my CYOA until I find out. --Gummibear123 16:49, 4 June 2011 (UTC)

Article Tags

I can't help but notice some heavy abuse of the article tagging system. I was wondering if the TagNimbus system had some sort of way to edit the tags on an article because there's been many times that I've seen things that are out of place and could use removing. Take the tags for the Sandbox for example... --TheElderOnes 03:39, 6 April 2011 (UTC)

Hello, Platypus!

Hello again Platypus!

Oh dear. I see what you mean now and I feel really silly. I will ensure that it does not happen again! I will also go to scour my posts and fix them in case you didn't already. Thank you for telling me; criticism goes a long way in helping me get better!

Whose adventure?

I'll not do that again, then (at least within the scope of SSR as it's your baby) - to be fair, though, I have seen plenty of published CYOA stuff that has a similar situation of you-the-reader choosing things that are completely outside you-the-character's control, though to be honest it did always feel a bit weird to me at the time. --Sisauq 20:45, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

Your Assistance

Thank you for your assistance in finding errors in my story pages. As I am new to this mistakes are bound to slip thru and as you have taken great pride in pointing out mine have more then their fair share. I welcome any tips and corrections you are willing to provide I simply and respectfully request that you keep the sarcasm to a minimum. I am working daily to improve my proof reading methods to make sure there are less and less mistakes. As diligently as I am working to that end I am only human. I know you are a contributor and editor just doing your job; you have my thanks for that. I have enjoyed my time here and hope to stay a while and continue to contribute.

Thanks

Platypus, I have just gone over your latest revisions in my texts and can see where most of my mistacks are coming from and why they are not being caught by my spell and grammer check. I will continue to strive to improve the quality of my posts. As you are going through them and editing them, I hope you are also enjopying the content. Thanks again! --Blackdragon25 19:51, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

Apologies

I am trying to figure out the system, but still am making errors. Thank you for your patience.

Sorry for making trouble for you, Platypus. I know it must be hard for you to keep track of everyone and everything on this site and I thank you for that. --Gummibear123 16:53, 4 June 2011 (UTC) P.S. You are soooooo freaking stupid! just kidding! I love you so much. (not really cause i barely know you but your still AMAZING!)

DON'T delete my TURNMOUSE part of my story

It's my story, and why did you delete it? Please tell me. If it REALLY was abandoning I abandoned the rest of my story for a while too! hahaha that's funny!

Creating A Story

Hey Platypus I was just wondering if you could tell me how to create a story from scratch not editing other people's stories. Thanks! --Kjsoccer97 19:28, 15 June 2011 (UTC)

Hey Platypus I was wondering what the site's rules concerning linking pictures to the stories. I know how to do it from the tutorial but don't want to violate any rules in the process so I wanted to check with you before actually trying it. Thanks --Blackdragon25 17:07, 4 July 2011 (UTC)

Possible bug

Hey platypus, I some how got signed out and noticed that when I am not signed in that half the links in both stories I am working on disappeared in the catagory page of the story. I signed back in and they all showed up again. Is there a difference on how the pages are catagorized when signed in verses signed out? I also noticed this was also true of the sub catagories as well. Just wanted to bring it to your attention. Thanks! --Blackdragon25 03:21, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

THANK YOU PLATYPUS

I am not new to the different types of wikis: wikipedia, mariowiki, zeldawiki, etc...: but i am new to CYOA and i just started yesterday, and i'm also having trouble typing on my nintendo wii since my laptop was damaged and resent to the manufacturer, but i really must thank you for what you told me (you could said something mean and i really wouldn't care all that much.) But really thank you for your advice PLATYPUS. By green pickle man

Vortex

Yeah, sorry about that page blanking thing. It was really late when I was doing it and I thought it would be fairly obvious what was going on when I was looking over the recent changes page. I guess it could have caused a bit of a panic attack, though. I'll remember to be more transparent in future. Vortex 20:02, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
