You keep hitting Valerie that is still trying to protect herself, until someone manages to drag you away.

You manage free yourself, and take a look over your shoulder, recognizing the man as a gardener that regularly works in the neighborhood. He still carries a pair of gardening shears on his tool belt.

You grab the shears and as you turn around to get at Valerie you notice two police officers coming out of the now stopped squad car and pull their guns, aiming at you.

• Attempt to stab Valerie with the shears before the cops shoot you.
