You go to the docks and see a small stand selling silver. You go up to the stand and ask the woman selling it how much she sells it for. She says: "Oh, I sell it very cheap. Its better customer attraction, Since most places sell it with a bit more that is worth to make a profit, i sell it a tiny bit more. Clever isn't it? That's what you'd expect from a she-merchent!"
Help him make the Boston Massacre Engraving

You help him make the engraving and together you hand them around. You learned that the boston massacre happened because some people were protesting non-importation and they got shot by the soldiers. From that point on Paul Revere teaches you everything about being a patriot, and eventually you enlist in the colonial malitia. The first battle you fight in is the battle of bunker hill. You are under the command of Col. John Stark. He calls you to reinforce the colonial left flank, on one of the beaches of Charlestown. You get there just in time to setup your weapon and mount it at the gate with all the other colonial soldiers before the first attack British comes. The British far our number you but since you have the high ground and the ability to steady your guns on the gate, as well as the limited protection that the gate provides, the British sustain heavy casualties. You eventually hold off the initial British attack. Later on that day you are pushed back into Boston, but the British payed such a high price that the battle felt like it was won. From that day on you see a bright future ahed for both the colonies, and yourself. Both you and Richardson have survived that battle, and you become lifelong friends and fight in many future battles together. You survive the war and live a long and satisfying life.
You join the British Troops. You are brought on to a British navel ship where you prepare for an attack on the Charlestown beachfront and into boston. You, under the command of General Howe, are lead into battle on the colonists left flank. You far out number the Colonists, yet the colonists have the high ground advantage, and soon your regiment suffers heavy casualties. As you are shooting upwards the gates and the Colonists you see... Is that Richardson? You see his gun fire and at the same time you feel a sharp paining your side. You fall to the ground, and the last thing you see before you black out is the blood stain on the white, sandy, beach beneath you. '''The End'''
So Phillis, why, exactly, are you a patriot?

Quakecomm:

Good question! You see, the colonies are beautiful places, so England wants to have control of them. This would be okay if the colonists were represented by the British government, but instead the British government imposes taxes to pay for their wars, and quarters troops in our homes without us ever having a say in it. That is why I believe in liberty for the colonies. May I read you one of my poems? This specific poem is about the sad death of a great patriot:

*In heavens eternal court it was decreed
*How the first martyr for the cause should bleed
*To clear the country of the hated brood
*He whet his courage for the common good
*Long hid before, a vile infernal here
*Prevents Achilles in his mid career
*Where'er this fury darts his Pois'nous breath
*All are endanger'd to the shafts of death
*The generous Sires beheld the fatal wound
*Saw their young champion gasping on the ground
*They rais'd him up. but to each present ear
*What martial glories did his tongue declare
*The wretch appal'd no longer can despise
*But from the Striking victim turns his eyes —
*When this young martial genius did appear
*The Tory cheifs no longer could forbear.
*Ripe for destruction, see the wretches doom
*He waits the curses of the age to come
*In vain he flies, by Justice Swiftly chaced
*With unexpected infamy disgraced
*Be Richardson for ever banish'd here
*The grand Usurpers bravely vaunted Heir.
*We bring the body from the watry bower
*To lodge it where it shall remove no more.
*Snider behold with what Majestic Love
*The Illustrious retinue begins to move
*With Secret rage fair freedoms foes beneath
*See in thy corse ev'n Majesty in Death.

Thank you for being so enthusiastic! But first let me explain to you why it is that that I am a patriot. The colonies are beautiful places, so England wants to have control of them. This would be okay if the colonists were represented by the British government, but instead the British government imposes taxes to pay for their wars, and quarters troops in our homes without us ever having a say in it.

"Good question. You see, I believe that this whole, "Taxation without representation" thing is a bit far fetched. If you want to be represented go back to england! A few taxes aren't any reason to break away from a whole country. It's stupid to sail all the way to the colonies just to complain about not being represented. Personally it doesn't bother me at all. I think that parliament is doing a fine job on their own. If I wanted a say I wouldn't have come here."

Thank you for being so enthusiastic! This specific poem is about the sad death of a great patriot:

In heavens eternal court it was decreed
How the first martyr for the cause should bleed
To clear the country of the hated brood
He whet his courage for the common good
Long hid before, a vile infernal here
Prevents Achilles in his mid career
Where'er this fury darts his Pois'nous breath
All are endanger'd to the shafts of death
The generous Sires beheld the fatal wound
Saw their young champion gasping on the ground
They rais'd him up. but to each present ear
What martial glories did his tongue declare
The wretch appal'd no longer can despise
But from the Striking victim turns his eyes —
When this young martial genius did appear
The Tory cheifs no longer could forbear.
Ripe for destruction, see the wretches doom
He waits the curses of the age to come
In vain he flies, by Justice Swiftly chaced
With unexpected infamy disgraced
Be Richardson for ever banish'd here
The grand Usurpers bravely vaunted Heir.
We bring the body from the watry bower
To lodge it where it shall remove no more.
Snider behold with what Majestic Love
The Illustrious retinue begins to move
With Secret rage fair freedoms foes beneath
See in thy corse ev'n Majesty in Death.

*[["That was so beautiful and patriotic!"(return to the farm a wholehearted patriot)]]

Quakecomm:

Over the next year you tend to the mill along side Jackson and Richardson. They constantly argue over issues of politics. Jackson always taking the loyalist side, Richardson always taking the patriot side. They argue over a lot of things, but none as much as the Boston Massacre. Every day they would argue, and every day Richardson would say that it was horrible that people should be killed just for not wanting unfair taxes, and Jackson would argue that the patriots brought it on themselves by harassing the soldiers. Eventually you know you will have to take sides. One day the time comes, when they both ask you to go and meet a friend of theirs on the same night.
