NocturnalGoddess:

As foretold in the Elder Scrolls, the last Dragonborn has appeared, just as the once defeated Alduin returns to consume the world! It is said that the Dovakiin is the only one able to truly defeat the dragons, consuming their souls and empowering their own, preventing them from returning once more!

You, of course, know nothing of this, as you are bound in the back of an Imperial prison cart, being taken to an unknown destination. Caught in an Imperial ambush, who had been hunting the Stormcloaks near the border to Skyrim, you were captured too, assumed to be a rebel by the Imperial forces. With your hands bound, there was little for you to do as you reflected on your situation, other than sleep and think, the other prisoners appearing unconscious and the guards untalkative.

Thinking back, you remember the constellation you were born under, said to reveal a person’s life and personality; there was the Bull, the Stag and the Vixen…

…Wait, you think to yourself, that didn’t sound right? You couldn’t seem to remember, but part of you feels as though that wasn’t right. Shaking your head, you remembered you were born under the…

You were born under the sign of the Vixen, the sign that has become infamous for promiscuity, those born under it have the stigma of being unfaithful and shallow! You feel yourself getting more voluptuous and erotic. You also feel yourself getting more airheaded and yet somehow more cruel and cunning, certain that you’ll be able to get yourself out of this situation.

You think back to earlier that day, when you had broken up with your latest boyfriend by ‘accidentally’ being caught fucking his father. In the ensuing fight you managed to slip away before your now ex-boyfriend grabbed an axe, deciding to ‘tip off’ the guards about the intruder, hoping that the guards would ‘deal with’ that problem so you wouldn’t have to.

After, you decided to meet with your ex-boyfriend’s sister, an innocent, naïve young woman who you’d lured to the riverside with the promise of a picnic. By midday, you’d successfully turned an innocent young woman into a curious young woman, and by the time the mead had run out, she was a naked young woman. You were enjoying yourself so much that you decided you’d wait until the second date to expose her to her village.

Unfortunately, before your plan to ruin her and skip town could be put into action, you saw the guards approaching, with both the father and son in their custody; you decided to leave now, jumping up and disappearing into the forest while the sister scrambled to collect her clothes…

You were in such a panic that you didn’t realise that you had stumbled into a battlefield until an Imperial soldier grabbed your arm and called out, “Here’s another one!”

After being mistaken for a rebel, you were grabbed, forced naked with the captives. It was only after the Guard Captain noticed that all the men in prison train, and about half the women, had been checking you out, ever since you were captured. Despite much protest from some of the legionnaires you were eventually given a roughspun tunic to cover yourself with...

“Hey, you” a voice calls you out of your thoughts, “You’re finally awake!”

The Stormcloak in front of you had clearly woken up and was looking at you.

“You were caught in that ambush, same as us, and that horse thief over there…”

He nods to the shorter man beside him, who seems to be in his own thoughts, eyes nervously darting back and forth. Suddenly the man looks up at the Stormcloak, “Damn you Stormcloaks. Skyrim was fine until you came along. Empire was nice and lazy.” He spits at the ground by the rebel’s feet. “If they hadn't been looking for you, I could've stolen that horse and be halfway to Hammerfell!”

The horse thief turns and looks at you, ‘secretly’ checking you out while he does, “You there. You and me - we shouldn't be here. It's these Stormcloaks the Empire wants." The rebel rolls his eyes at this and turns away from the thief, as one of the drivers of the prison carriage turns in his seat.

“Shut up back there!”

The carriage continues for several hours, by which time the rebel had introduced himself as ‘Ralof’, from some village on the border of Falkreath and Whiterun Hold, ‘Riverwood’ or something like that. Eventually, the horse thief stopped panicking for enough time to introduce himself as ‘Lokir’ of Rorikstead, also in Whiterun Hold.

He started to mention something about his family, when you notice two towers in the distance, emerging from the forest. After a few more minutes, the carriage turned a corner in the road, revealing the gate of a town, surrounded by 12 foot high walls, and Imperial banners hanging from them. As the carriages slowed, Ralof looked up at the gatehouse.

“This is Helgen!”

Ralof notices something in the distance and nods towards it, a man on horseback, joined by two other figures clad in ornate black robes.

“Look at him, General Tullius the Military Governor. And it looks like the Thalmor are with him. Damn elves. I bet they had something to do with this."

As the carriages continued, the trio followed behind, as the morning sunlight reflected off the General’s gilded armor. Meanwhile, the townsfolk ventured out into the streets to watch the spectacle, one child pointing directly at you, whispering to his father. As you pass by a building with red latterns hanging from the porch, two women lean out of a balcony and look at the convoy. You look up and the women are staring at you, whispering to each other. One of them giggles and quickly lifts her shirt to flash you, while the other rolls her eyes before laughing.
.
The carriages eventually stop again, outside a stone keep, with a priest and a headsman stood outside.

Stepping before the carriage, an Imperial soldier grabs ‘Lokir’ and pulls him from his seat, calling for the rest of the prisoners to get out.

“Why are we stopping?!”

“Why do you think?” Ralof replied, “End of the line. Let's go. Shouldn't keep the gods waiting for us…"

You were born under the sign of the Stag, the sign of…what is politely called gentleness and emotion… You feel yourself getting smaller and somehow weaker just by thinking about your sign. You also feel yourself getting ‘smaller’ and more insecure, terrified of the situation you found yourself in.

You think back to earlier that day, when you had been lured outside of town by your crush, Annekke. After pretending she was ‘interested’ in something more than just a riverside picnic, she got you naked and didn’t even laugh like you’d expected. Unfortunately for you, she then decided to call out to the Imperial legionnaires nearby, claiming that you were another of the rebels they had just captured!

NocturnalGoddess: Created page with 'It is the Fourth Era and Skyrim is in chaos; the Empire of Tiber Septim was shattered, first by the Oblivion Crisis and the end of the Septim line, and then later by the Great Wa…'

It is the Fourth Era and Skyrim is in chaos; the Empire of Tiber Septim was shattered, first by the Oblivion Crisis and the end of the Septim line, and then later by the Great War between the Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion. With the signing of the White-Gold Concordat, the banning of worship of Talos, the ‘ninth divine’ and the ascended form of Tiber Septim, split the land of Skyrim in two.

There are those who believe that the banning of this religious worship by the Aldmeri Dominion is another form of their growing control over Tamriel, a policy that the Empire is enforcing. Others however, believe that the Empire needs to regain its strength, that this concession is a necessary evil until the Empire can face the Aldmeri Dominion again and defeat them.
This culminated in the assassination of Torygg, the Pro-Empire High King of Skyrim, by the Jarl of Windhelm, Ulfric Stormcloak, and the collapse of Skyrim into civil war; between Ulfric’s ‘Stormcloak’ supporters and the Imperial Loyalists.

At the same time, whispers of a greater threat is growing, as from the hidden places of the world, vampires strike out at the innocent population in the night, not content to even isolated communities, they have begun to prey even on those who thought themselves safe behind city walls and guard towers.
Worse still, some rumors claim that dragons have appeared in Skyrim, for the first time in millennia, even going so far as to claim that Alduin, the prophesised ‘World Eater’, the bringer of the end times, has retuned to bring the end of the world!

Throughout all of this, bandits raid the roads, monsters strike out at their prey and the Thalmor continue to push their will on the people of Skyrim…

The lands of Tamriel are filled with danger and adventure! While monsters and beasts roam the surface, undead stalk ancient tombs and a betrayed race, exiled to the underground citadels of their former masters, plot against those that dwell in the sunlight…

It is a land of magic and of heroes, as champions step forward to face foes that threaten the very existence of Tamriel. Whether it is the dark desire of one of the Daedric Princes to consume the world, or an insane plot by an ambitious vampire to cover the world in darkness, each era is defined by the actions of those brave individuals who fight to save the land and fulfil their destiny…

The Elder Scrolls contain the prophecies of the world, hinting to its readers Tamriel’s past, present and possible future. Yet all of these things may be rewritten, prophecies changed, futures altered. Even the past is not certain; events once well recorded become lost to legend, legend then becoming myth, until the true events of ancient times becomes obscured to all… Those with the power to alter the world can change not only their present, but the future of every being in Tamriel!

A champion has been foretold, to step forward to face the next great threat to Tamriel, and yet this time, dark forces intervene to change their destiny. A conspiracy to change the fate of Tamriel has been unleashed, as the powers of the Daedra seek to defeat the heroes sent to oppose them.

The Elder Scrolls are rewritten, as minds are altered, events changed, legends retold. The very spirit of the champion, blessed by the Aedra and Daedra both, is corrupted. This corruption, created by the Daedra, was sent to ensure that the ‘heroes’ that oppose them would fail, their strength and will drained in the face of their destiny.
It is only through the limited power of the Aedra, that the corruption was not absolute; Instead, the champions of Tamriel will have the potential to overcome their corruption and achieve their fate, only with far more difficultly, as the temptation to fall will be omnipresent.

As stories are retold, of those that fell in the face of their destiny and those that achieved their potential, these heroes step forward once again, challenged by the darkness of the world to defend their world and claim their destiny!

Where are you?
