"Sick. Don't lie Caitlyn, I heard that you played in both your soccer games this week, so you clearly weren't sick." Caitlyn looks away in embarrassment at being called out on her lie. For a second you feel bad for calling her out, but you are tired and not in the best of moods, besides you did put a lot of effort into preparing your lectures on reflexes and Caitlyn had a habit of skipping your classes.

"I am sorry professor. It is just that we had our sorority rush last week and I am in charge of organizing our social events so I was very busy last week."

"Listen, Caitlyn. You have consistently been skipping classes this semester and if I am honest it is definitely effecting your grade in the course." Caitlyn didn't respond for several seconds. She looked slightly stunned by your directness.

"What do you mean it is effecting my grade?" Caitlyn asked nervously. "Isn't the class just pass fail?"

"Yes, it is just a pass/fail class, but every unexcused absence counts against your grade and right now you are on the cusp of failing as a result." This always happened every time you teach a pass/fail class. Inevitably it fills up with student athletes and students looking for an easy course and usually you are laid back about it, but this semester you have decided enough is enough.

"I am almost failing! I can't fail! If I fail this class I wont be able to stay on the soccer team!" Caitlyn said, her eyes wide in disbelief.

"Please professor, I care about this class! I have just been soooo busy. I need to pass!" She said looking desperate. But you are in no mood to be accommodating.

"I am sorry Caitlyn, but you can't expect me to ignore your unexcused absence just because you are busy with Greek life and your sports team. If you can ace your exam Friday there is a chance you will pass." Caitlyn sat stunned for a second before she responded.

"Professor, if I am honest we both know I won't do well on the test. I hardly know the material. Is there really nothing I can do to make up for missing classes?"

"Sorry Caitlyn, but doing well on your exam on Friday is really your only option."

Caitlyn stood in stunned silence, her eyes looked slightly watery as if she was on the verge of tears. You feel bad for her, but there have been one too many students who have take advantage of your pass/fail policy. You aren't putting up with it any longer no matter how sad they look or ... how sexy they are.

"Professor." Caitlyn's voice interrupted your thoughts. Re-focusing your attention you notice the Caitlyn no longer looks like she is on the verge of tears. Quite the contrary she has a determined almost bemused expression on her face and her penetrating blue eyes are looking you up and down. She takes a step around the desk towards you.

Stunned you look up at her your mind racing. You can't do this, she is your student. You can get in such much trouble. You need to say no! "I am busy!" You yell

"Come back another time"

You hear whoever was at your office walk away. And turning back to your computer you continue grading tests.

Several hours later you close your computer. You can finish grading this tests tomorrow after your morning lecture. It is almost 11pm and you still haven'y had dinner.

Packing up your bag you leave your office and start heading down the empty hallway towards the exit, but as you are passing the entrance to one of the lecture halls you hear something that stops you in your tracks. Was that a moan? Edging closer to the lecture hall you listen closely. For almost a minute you stand still listening, and just as you start to think you didn't hear anything to begin with you hear a moan, much louder this time, and unmistakably sexual in nature. Your first instinct is to hurry away, but as your are turning to leave you think better of it. "Not yet. I tried with my friend, but we both couldn't find it." She replied

"Ok, not a problem. Come lie down on the desk and I can show you were to find it on yourself." You cleared off your laptop and some papers you were grading on your desk and Caitlyn got on the desk and laid down on her back.

"Where have you been looking for the femoral pulse?" You ask Caitlyn

She points to the middle of her upper thigh.

"Close, but not exactly. Can I show you?" She nods in response to your question

You place both your fingers on top of her shorts where her pulse would be. She place her fingers by yours.

"I still can't feel it?" Caitlyn said.

"Try feel for it under your shorts, it might be easier." You tell her. Caitlyn hesitates, then slides her hand down her abdomen beneath the edge of her shorts.

"I still can't find it. Can you show me?" Caitlyn asks turning to look at you.

"Sure." You respond, but as you begin to slide your hand underneath her short you cant help but feel this is a little too intimate of a lesson. As you slide your fingers further under her shorts Caitlyn began to move her legs apart ever so slightly. You can feel your hear begin to pound in your chest. You remind yourself that this is just a lesson...

"Right her, see if you can feel it right here." You tell Caitlyn when you find her pulse. It take her a second to respond and you realize she had been staring at you. What had she been thinking? Without speaking she slides her hand under her shorts on top of your hand, but instead of feeling for the pulse you can feel her lightly trying to press your hand closer to her groin.
