Push your feet hard in an attempt to jump back out of the baggage carousel

As your feet feeling like they are being pulled from under you, you bend a little then try to push yourself backwards, back out of the baggage carousel.

Unfortunately, the conveyor belt in the carousel is moving faster than your reaction time. You do not have enough leverage to jump back out. Indeed you feel as though a carpet was pulled out from under you.

You fall onto the conveyor belt onto your side, barely hitting your head. You are now lying on the conveyor belt as it moves towards the first turn. You can see the faces of the people crowded around the carousel look down at you in dismay and also, horror.

You grab one of the many arms beginning to stretch out to you, as some people attempt to help you off the conveyor belt.

This results in a bit of a catastrophe as you land half want inbetween the conveyor belt area and outside of the carousel, right on the edge, knocking some of the wind out of you.

Yet someone seems to have grabbed your feet and helped to flip you over, out of the carousel. You land on the floor, side of your face and shoulders first.

A lot of voices are heard talking and shouting now above the carousel machine's noise.

You jump over the baggage just in time. You land running on the conveyor belt, edging closer to the opening with each step now.

Some people are beginning to shout at you but you can't hear them over the sound of the baggage carousel machine.

You pick up the pace. You are nearing the opening. The opening is draped with what looks like a sheet that's been cut in strip so you can only catch glimpses of what's going on in the luggage handling area.

There are multiple thuds that you feel through your feel as you jog on the moving belt.

You are now running on the conveyor belt towards the opening. You hear gasps from the crowd of passengers you were just standing amongst. Many of them have begun to try to step back from the edge of the baggage carousel, but there are so many people crowded around it, that they can't. A few people begin to panic.

You start running faster towards the opening and are now making ground.

There is a large thud, and out from behind the opening in the wall comes a large, brown suitcase, with a belt buckle design on the front to keep it together tight, heading right for you.

As you do so, you notice the crowd looking at you in horror. You are approaching the first turn on the baggage carousel conveyor belt system.

Your feet clop down like they are walking, one, the other, and suddenly you are facing the direction of where the conveyor belt is moving from. The conveyor is moving a lot faster than you thought.

Your feet automagically begin to step in front of each other with the speed of the conveyor belt and you barely avoid falling. You are essentially running on the conveyor belt towards the opening but not gaining very fast on it.

You stand there, staring at the conveyor belt with the rest of them. You feel mesmerized by the moving conveyor belt. How does it do that? So many moving parts. Like a flat escalator going in a circle.

You are startled by a large thud as the first of the luggage from the flight is thrown onto the conveyor belt and emerges from the opening in the wall, what appears to be a very large brown suitcase with belt buckle straps on the front holding it tight.

As it approaches you, another thud, and another, as two, three, five six eight luggage bags are thrown on and the first of the baggage approaches you as you follow it intently with your eyes until it is right near your knees.

You get to the side of the baggage carousel and stare up and down the moving conveyor belt. A lady next to you says, "They haven't started putting the baggage onto the carousel yet." You turn your head slowly to look at her and smile a wide grin that turns into a full, crazed smile. She looks at you, smiles back, then appears a little befuddled by your over amusement at the empty baggage carousel.
