On your birthday, you head for the lab. They are Pokemon researchers.
It is 2018, and People have already gathered enough information combined to complete a Pokedex. Except on legendary Pokemon and insanely rare ones. But rookie trainers receive a empty Pokedex's anyway, as it can be useful, and it's a challenge. Anyway, you head to the lab on your scooter.

Again, this region is rich, and this day of the year (coincidentally on your birthday) they give out LOTS of starter Pokemon. The lab can afford huge shipment of eggs. But they do make lot of money, as it cost a to get starter's.

Eventually, you come to the door, having scootered through the neighborhoods. You see some other kids your age there.

Four of them. One is your best friend, Laiky. She is from your neighborhood.
The other is your cousin, Dennis.
The third is Jeb, the know it all form school.
He's a real piece of work, but not a stupid bully, with an IQ of like, 500!
The fourth is a kid you've never seen before. She is utterly silent.

You ignore him, and instead talk to Laiky. You guys discuss what Pokemon you will get. You've seen it on TV plenty of times. You each get a choice of a grass, fire, water, and electric type. There are five of each.

When Professor Koa, the apprentice, steps out, and welcomes you guys in.
He lead all five of you into a room, with twenty Poke balls on a table. They all have labels on them.

"Now," says Professor Palm. "what were going to do is rotate. You all take turns picking a Pokemon.
"You can go first!" she says pointing at you.
First you decide to choose your grass type.
Then once evryone's finished, you move onto fire type. Once you've chosen all four.... (you can add combinations, but the last ones mine)

'''Plot:''' If you've ever played any of the main Pokémon games or watched the animé, then you should already be able to tell what the plot is. To put it simply, you're a Pokémon Trainer. You start out in one of the four main regions based on the handheld games, obtain a Pokémon from the corresponding Professor, and set out on your journey.

Only this time, you aren't limited to getting eight gym badges, stopping Team Whatever, and becoming the Pokémon League Champion. I mean, sure, you can follow that formula if you really want to... But what's stopping you from joining Team Random and quickly ascending to the top of that crime syndicate's boss ladder? Or what's that, you want to BE a gym leader and crush the dreams of all the aspiring trainers that challenge you? Fine by me. Feel like traversing through all the regions and catching every single Pokémon? That will take awhile, but go for it. I will say this though, for the sake of starting out, you're still a kid. I won't go that harsh on you and make you ten, but instead you're going to be fifteen. Somewhere along the way there will be a way to choose your gender, but for now, everyone you meet will assume you're a boy. You'll have to prove them wrong by branching off the story.

This is an open-ended Pokémon adventure. Do what you want, as long as you do it in a grammatically-correct way, that is. Also, be realistic. No, your Charmander isn't going to evolve straight into a Charizard after battling one Pidgey. And no, that Charizard isn't going to fly you directly to Mewtwo only to have it beg you to let it be your Pokémon before promptly catching itself in one of your Poké Balls. I mean, come on... Sure, you can certainly catch Mewtwo eventually, but like I said, be realistic and have your story make sense.

With all of that said, there's only one question remaining: Which region do you want to start your adventure in?

You train them for days. Caterpie evolves into a red Metapod. You turn the stat mode off on the Pokedex. But enter the names you decide to give them all. You figure out their abilities, and talk to them, and train with them.

After a few days, you come to Pewter City> You give everyone a healing job, then send out Boltie.

You take a step forward and loudly say
"I choose you, Pichu!"
Everyone stares at you, and you blush.
"I choose Charmander," says the slick haired kid.
"Squirtle" says a girl with blond pigtails and green eyes.
"Bulbasaur" says a girl with brown choppy hair and is wearing a weird white dress.

The professor hands you each a bag of supplies that contains five Poke balls and six potions and some berries and stuff. He also hands you all Pokedex, a machine that records data from all Pokemon you obtain. the goal is to get the data of all Pokemon, and complete the Dex.
You are so happy that your mom let you get a phone for your tenth birthday. So far though, the only peoples number you have is your mom's, and the professor's. Although, you know that only one of his assistants will pick up. Gary Oak, the professor's grandson and mane assistant, is waiting for you at the door.
Here's a map for you all!" he says. He hands you each a map of the Kanto region. You are in Pallet town, in the left lower corner.

Outside you send out your new Pokemon.
"Pichu" it says glancing curiously at you. You don't know how this Pichu hasn't evolved. Pichu usually aren't native to this region.
Oh well, good thing because Pickachu, their evolved forms, are aggressive and stubborn at first, and hard to train. Pichu accidentally lets out a stray shock, that narrowly missis you.
It look apologetic.

It's a shiny Caterpie. you've heard tat shiny Pokemon are SUPER rare. AND they gain experience twice as fast.

"You silently look at Boltie.
But she looks tense and exited.
"Wave lightning" you mouth, and she starts charging up. Then she releases it and it slams into Caterpie, knocking it down fro the tree.
It' then you realize how powerful your Pichu is usually, Pichu's electricity are uncontrolled. i mean, sure it's accidentally shocked you a few times, but it must be really mature, physically.

Anyway, you throw a Poke ball.

And you can guess what happens next.

You team is full, so you should really move on. Plus, your way behind your rivals!
But it is a forest. There's some pretty cool stuff.

You have Boltie send a bolt deep down into the water. Hopefully this will bring something to the surface. She does it in a few different areas. Eventually, a Squirtle swims to the surface, annoyed and hurt. it probably didn't get hit directly, but water conducts electricity. Then it notices you, and tries to dive back under, but bolt uses wave Lightning, causing Squirtle to just withdraw, to weak to swim. It's shell is floating on the surface. You throw a Poke ball, and it escapes from it It's on the ground now, and very shaky, but it uses Bubble attack on Botlie, It was unexpected,a and hits. Boltie is annoyed too now.
"scratch! you say, but Squirtle counters with bubble. It's time to subdue it. you use charm, then one last tackle.
Squirtle faints, which was unnecessary but you wanted to be sure, and you catch it!

You then heal Squirtle and Pichu, with potion and berry.

Pokedex.
You then (with Boltie on your shoulder, and she's starting to look really happy) head into Viridian forest. Bug types are the most common here, but you think you could find lake or a pond or something, and water types would be useful at the gym in Pewter.
You know that you could do a lot of these things, but decide that only three are realistic. What do you do first.

You tell Boltie to back away, and let Squirtle emerge.

You nod at Boltie. Wait, you mouth.You've been practicing a...special Thundershock.

"Squirtle" says Clarissa, trying to get back on top of things, "use water gun!" Boltie dodges it with such grace that Clarissa looses some points. "again" she says. "over and over Pichu manages to dodge the water gun. than you realize shes learning quick attack. A white stream is behind her whle she runs. "now!" you say, form boltie tuny stub of a tail, out comes ripple sof blue and purple electricity, swirling in the air adn interlocking with itself, before slamming into Squirtle, and shocking it until it faints!

You get a huge applause, and Boltie seems pretty happy. you shake hands with Clarissa. You realize Bolt didn't get hit at all, and Clarissa's point meter was down at zero the same time Squirtle fainted... There was 18 seconds left though... You earn the Viridian ribbon and 98 bucks!

You decide to call that special electric attacks, "wave lightning" and froget grol so Boltie can focus on it more. After the contest, you get some lunch (which cost's you some money). You also pack up some food for the road then you...

It's a one on one battle. You do rock paper siszors and he wins. You have to send out first.....
"go Larkie!"
He thinks for a minute. (Bu he only has one Pokemon, all gym students do, what's there to think about?)
"Go, Sandshrew."
"use gust"
Sandshrew defense curls into a ball, as he is gusted into a rock. Then is finished off with a quick attack, peck, and wing attack as soon as it uncurls.

"I didn't even get to attack" he says returning Sandshrew. The next kid uses a Diglett, and you again use Lark.
She tell her Diglett to use dig. It digs a hole.
You think, wow this is pathetic!
When the hole is dug, she waits, as if expecting you to do something stupid. All you say is for Larkie to move closer to the ground. After a few minutes, "Diglett, re surface." she says.
But as soon as it's popped out of the ground, it gets hit with quick attack.
Then it go's back under.
"gust" you say.
Larkie gusts into the hole, causing dirt to fly up.
Next time the girl asks Diglett to resurface, it's the same thing, a quick attack. And the next time, until Diglett faints from a series of quick attacks and one gust.
After the battle, you tell the girl that why doesn't she not TELL her Diglett to pop up, warning the opponent but instead let it pop up on it's own or have a sign or something for it, or a system.
She says thanks. You win some money.
Apparently the gym just started having students (it used to be owned by Team Rocket, who was defeated a year ago), so that's whay their so lame! And those are the only ones.

You nod at Boltie. Wait, you mouth.You've been practicing a...special Thundershock.

"Squirtle" says Clarissa, trying to get back on top of things, "use water gun!" Boltie dodges it with such grace that Clarissa looses some points. "again" she says. "over and over Pichu manages to dodge the water gun. than you realize shes learning quick attack. A white stream is behind her whle she runs. "now!" you say, form boltie tuny stub of a tail, out comes ripple sof blue and purple electricity, swirling in the air adn interlocking with itself, before slamming into Squirtle, and shocking it until it faints!

You get a huge applause, and Boltie seems pretty happy. you shake hands with Clarissa. You realize Bolt didn't get hit at all, and Clarissa's point meter was down at zero the same time Squirtle fainted... There was 18 seconds left though... You earn the Viridian ribbon and 98 bucks!

You decide to call that special electric attacks, "wave lightning" and froget grol so Boltie can focus on it more. After the contest, you get some lunch (which cost's you some money). You also pack up some food for the road then you...

Pokemon: battle safely and slowly

Bluelightning108:

Your Boltie is commanded a charm. It learned this attack a while ago, in the forest, but during training a while ago, Boltie practiced it to make it even cuter. Hearts spring up around Boltie,a and shoot at Poliwag. It glows white. The attack is so good, the judges make the man loose a bit of points.

Boltie than uses thundershcok, weakening the mesmerized oliwag

"Waggy" says the man in an accent, "mud shot!"
"Waggy, looks reluctant, but lets out a weak mus shot, Boltie dodges for another Thudnershock. Tiis happens a couple more tiems, and 30 seconds on the clock. You have to think fast. Poliwag is UBER close to fainting, and Bolie's gotten hit by one of the mud shots and is a WAY lower level. Therefor is weak.
Just one last Thundershock would finish it off, so it's just that simple. Poliwag sure is slow, and spurts some mus in desperation as the electricity hits it.
Pichu jumps back form the mud sport (a little too late for that, you think to Poliwag)

And poliwag faints. You've done it! And defeated a a high level.

backstage, your really happy. You and Clarissa are the winners, so will battle each other in the finals.
Your Boltie really happy too. Everyone gets healed up, and it starts.

You send out Boltie and have her use...

It's a one on one battle. You do rock paper siszors and he wins. You have to send out first.....
"go Larkie!"
He thinks for a minute. (Bu he only has one Pokemon, all gym students do, what's there to think about?)
"Go, Sandshrew."
"use gust"
Sandshrew defense curls into a ball, as he is gusted into a rock. Then is finished off with a quick attack, peck, and wing attack as soon as it uncurls.

"I didn't even get to attack" he says returning Sandshrew. The next kid uses a Diglett, and you again use Lark.
She tell her Diglett to use dig. It digs a hole.
You think, wow this is pathetic!
When the hole is dug, she waits, as if expecting you to do something stupid. All you say is for Larkie to move closer to the ground. After a few minutes, "Diglett, re surface." she says.
But as soon as it's popped out of the ground, it gets hit with quick attack.
Then it go's back under.
"gust" you say.
Larkie gusts into the hole, causing dirt to fly up.
Next time the girl asks Diglett to resurface, it's the same thing, a quick attack. And the next time, until Diglett faints from a series of quick attacks and one gust.
After the battle, you tell the girl that why doesn't she not TELL her Diglett to pop up, warning the opponent but instead let it pop up on it's own or have a sign or something for it, or a system.
She says thanks. You win some money.
Apparently the gym just started having students (it used to be owned by Team Rocket, who was defeated a year ago), so that's whay their so lame! And those are the only ones.
