The story The World's End is mine. I started it back in 2008/2007. I should have rights to edit the pages as I see fit. Someone that took the time to write one page does not have control over everything. Please let me have creative license over my work. It is not my intention to rip apart others contributions, but sometimes I need to clean things up and add some things to the story. Anyways, I don't think anyone else has contributed to my story for about three years, I don't think they will be mad if I change a few sentences or delete something so it makes more sense.

In regards to your last comment on my talk page, I just wanted to say that I respect that rampage is your story, and if you don't want me posting there, then just say the word; I will respect that.

I put up a couple of stories last night, one of which I found in a folder which I thought I had posted a long time ago, the other of which I wrote in a bit of a hurry. For that reason, I must have forgotten to make sure that they conformed to your preferred punctuation style, and I apologize for that.

In regard to your last comment on my talk page, allow me to say, "Thank you". You said everything I had hoped you would say, and I feel encouraged to keep writing, and to follow http://editthis.info/create_your_own_adventure/Punctuation_with_dialogue.

My academic background is in descriptive grammar, and I have since moved to work with editing, which is of course prescriptive, but I never work with fiction writing, so I haven't had cause to study use of punctuation in quotations before.

Sorry for the way i've been acting, i'm not trying to get banned. Sometimes I don't always think before I post due to my Aspberger's Syndrome, I was out of line with what I said before and I regret it. I appreciate you showing what I did wrong with my last entry, that really helped me. So i'm going to take your advice and try and start my own story, i'll consider myself lucky if I turn out to be even half as good of a writer as you are, i'll try not to make my grammar look too sloppy. Thank you for showing me how to add the category into the story, I was trying to do that, but gave up. turns out i was almost there :)
Anyway I was wondering if you could tell me how to make different lines in a single story merge.
In other words if one decision was made, how do I make the lines merge with a bit down the line decisions of a different set.
What I am getting at is that if you choose a path it may lead to being captured or death.
if you choose the other path one of the decisions in that path could have the same result.
So instead of retyping it, I want to know how to direct the page to that same ending, especially if I think that ending was writen well?

Platypus, question. I want to create a page in my story but not linked to my story where I can keep a log of where my links are and where they are broken.
I can probably do it on my PC, but I am editing from both home and work, so feel it would be easier if I can just have a link log or something where I keep track of my forks without having to go through it multiple times.

So, just checking. Do I seem to be doing fine right now? I know I occasionally post a long story in a link, then have no additional options and change the stuff in that link. I am just laying in the base for the branch I am working on, and will remove/add/edit/modify everything as I progress. Actually, what I am trying to do is this (Which you can see is a problem if you check the [[Dirty Me/Storyboard]]:

Then, I can create the page paths, so, for example, someone is reading through, then gets to a certain point and needs to leave, they can just go to the Storyboard, look up the path they see, and go directly to it. It seems nicer than the category page, so you can see what choices lead to what paths. I guess I saw Uman's, and liked it, but wanted to make the entire story path so you could just look up options quickly and decide where you want to go. But right now, my opening, with all paths shown until the end of it, is over 900 lines, which won't really be nice for anyone to use. Well, looks like no one has been able to find a way to create a collapsible table. I may blank it soon if we can't. Seems too awkward trying to use it without being able to do this.

I am wondering. I have been looking around this wiki, other wikis, features, pages, etc, and have noticed that overall, our front page is rather ugly, that there are additional tools that may be useful (For example, one had a "forum" area where things could be reported, or just discussions or whatever), and that overall it seems like some things need to be rethought. I don't really have any answers for these issues, but I was wondering if you have had any thoughts about all this. I am willing to help try to come up with some better things like the Copyright notice, maybe try to help a little with the grammar section, and the forums idea, but when it comes to trying to think of how to clean up the home page, or make some other useful pages, I have no idea where to even start. Just a little overwhelming I guess. Do you have any ideas for any of this? And, think I am finished with the Adult Stories section. All stories have been gone through, and their category pages marked as Adult Stories. Many of the low page count, long time without editing, have been moved to the pit. I thought this would make it easier. I will still do a few other things around the site, and once I am up for writing more, add more to my stories. Just wanted to let you know. Okay, so, one thing I have gotten annoyed with is the image insert and 20 minutes. I understand why it was done, but I soooooo want to try to show the readers the clothes I am thinking of when I write these. Take for example this one: [[Dirty Me/Try to seduce him]]. Is there any way I can take that image, then insert it back into the article so that it shows the skirt, instead of the user needing to click the link? Ok, now this is just ticking me off... When I have tried to put a pic in a new template, I insert the link, create my category, and only after I am sure my link is done do I submit. However, now (which didn't happen yesterday or the day before), it is popping up with a captcha box. So, I fill in the captcha box, and then get the message that I cannot insert an external link more than once per 20 minutes, effectively preventing me to insert a photo at all... Any idea why I suddenly have the captcha box popping up? It is preventing it completely D: Maybe since I have created a new link, the site has decided to verify me every time now? Yeah, and I think I made a mistake. I notice now when I try to put up a new pic template, it says linking has been disabled... I wrote a bug report, and explained what I was doing, why, and asked if it was my fault. Sadly, I learned that the hard way...I ended up on one of those revenge porn sites after I sent someone I was talking to online some pics of me...About three years ago I guess. The good part is, it was one of those sites the FBI ended up taking down (Not for me, but because some politicians daughter or something ended up on there). Ended up closing down my Facebook because of that. I still don't have a Facebook to this day, I just use my husbands. But...who knows where else my pic has ended up. <nowiki>*shrug*</nowiki>, I learned too many lessons the hard way D: However, I did learn, and because of everything, I am who I am now, and I am happy, so, I am grateful. The experiences made me who I am today ^.^ Hopefully though the pics in the different pages are helping to give a better impression of what I am thinking about when I am writing. To be honest, at first, it was just suppose to be an outfit or two, but rereading my discussion between me and Blackadder38, I thought about how men are more visual, and that it might help liven up the story more, especially after you mentioned how these are adult stories. However, I have been trying to keep it softcore still, and am not interested in hardcore. But, I have been thinking that, to be completely honest, I am not sure if I like the pictures in my stories like this. I may just remove them. I will need to think about it. Just a note, you might want to check [[Special:Contributions/SergeantC]], especially the pages like [[The Arizona Buzzsaw Butchery]], since it seems to turn the story into gore. The story The World's End is mine. I started it back in 2008/2007. I should have rights to edit the pages as I see fit. Someone that took the time to write one page does not have control over everything. Please let me have creative license over my work. It is not my intention to rip apart others contributions, but sometimes I need to clean things up and add some things to the story. Anyways, I don't think anyone else has contributed to my story for about three years, I don't think they will be mad if I change a few sentences or delete something so it makes more sense.

I do admit that I am distracted at times, often writing an addition to your things, as well as on another site trying a 'choose your own adventure' style thing with the comments. In regards to your last comment on my talk page, I just wanted to say that I respect that rampage is your story, and if you don't want me posting there, then just say the word; I will respect that.

I put up a couple of stories last night, one of which I found in a folder which I thought I had posted a long time ago, the other of which I wrote in a bit of a hurry. For that reason, I must have forgotten to make sure that they conformed to your preferred punctuation style, and I apologize for that.

In regard to your last comment on my talk page, allow me to say, "Thank you". You said everything I had hoped you would say, and I feel encouraged to keep writing, and to follow http://editthis.info/create_your_own_adventure/Punctuation_with_dialogue.

My academic background is in descriptive grammar, and I have since moved to work with editing, which is of course prescriptive, but I never work with fiction writing, so I haven't had cause to study use of punctuation in quotations before.

Sorry for the way i've been acting, i'm not trying to get banned. Sometimes I don't always think before I post due to my Aspberger's Syndrome, I was out of line with what I said before and I regret it. I appreciate you showing what I did wrong with my last entry, that really helped me. Thank you for showing me how to add the category into the story, I was trying to do that, but gave up. turns out i was almost there :)
Anyway I was wondering if you could tell me how to make different lines in a single story merge.
In other words if one decision was made, how do I make the lines merge with a bit down the line decisions of a different set.
What I am getting at is that if you choose a path it may lead to being captured or death.
if you choose the other path one of the decisions in that path could have the same result.
So instead of retyping it, I want to know how to direct the page to that same ending, especially if I think that ending was writen well?

Platypus, question. I want to create a page in my story but not linked to my story where I can keep a log of where my links are and where they are broken.
I can probably do it on my PC, but I am editing from both home and work, so feel it would be easier if I can just have a link log or something where I keep track of my forks without having to go through it multiple times.

Actually, what I am trying to do is this (Which you can see is a problem if you check the [[Dirty Me/Storyboard]]:

Then, I can create the page paths, so, for example, someone is reading through, then gets to a certain point and needs to leave, they can just go to the Storyboard, look up the path they see, and go directly to it. It seems nicer than the category page, so you can see what choices lead to what paths. I guess I saw Uman's, and liked it, but wanted to make the entire story path so you could just look up options quickly and decide where you want to go. But right now, my opening, with all paths shown until the end of it, is over 900 lines, which won't really be nice for anyone to use. Well, looks like no one has been able to find a way to create a collapsible table. I may blank it soon if we can't. Seems too awkward trying to use it without being able to do this.

I am wondering. I have been looking around this wiki, other wikis, features, pages, etc, and have noticed that overall, our front page is rather ugly, that there are additional tools that may be useful (For example, one had a "forum" area where things could be reported, or just discussions or whatever), and that overall it seems like some things need to be rethought. I don't really have any answers for these issues, but I was wondering if you have had any thoughts about all this. I am willing to help try to come up with some better things like the Copyright notice, maybe try to help a little with the grammar section, and the forums idea, but when it comes to trying to think of how to clean up the home page, or make some other useful pages, I have no idea where to even start. Just a little overwhelming I guess. Do you have any ideas for any of this? Okay, so, one thing I have gotten annoyed with is the image insert and 20 minutes. Ok, now this is just ticking me off... When I have tried to put a pic in a new template, I insert the link, create my category, and only after I am sure my link is done do I submit. However, now (which didn't happen yesterday or the day before), it is popping up with a captcha box. So, I fill in the captcha box, and then get the message that I cannot insert an external link more than once per 20 minutes, effectively preventing me to insert a photo at all... Any idea why I suddenly have the captcha box popping up? It is preventing it completely D: Maybe since I have created a new link, the site has decided to verify me every time now? Yeah, and I think I made a mistake. I notice now when I try to put up a new pic template, it says linking has been disabled... I wrote a bug report, and explained what I was doing, why, and asked if it was my fault. Sadly, I learned that the hard way...I ended up on one of those revenge porn sites after I sent someone I was talking to online some pics of me...About three years ago I guess. The good part is, it was one of those sites the FBI ended up taking down (Not for me, but because some politicians daughter or something ended up on there). Ended up closing down my Facebook because of that. I still don't have a Facebook to this day, I just use my husbands. But...who knows where else my pic has ended up. <nowiki>*shrug*</nowiki>, I learned too many lessons the hard way D: However, I did learn, and because of everything, I am who I am now, and I am happy, so, I am grateful. To be honest, at first, it was just suppose to be an outfit or two, but rereading my discussion between me and Blackadder38, I thought about how men are more visual, and that it might help liven up the story more, especially after you mentioned how these are adult stories. However, I have been trying to keep it softcore still, and am not interested in hardcore. But, I have been thinking that, to be completely honest, I am not sure if I like the pictures in my stories like this. I may just remove them. I will need to think about it. I was thinking that since each category serves for a different audience, the number of alternate stories would surmount to the same number of categories. On to the flow of things: I've realized that many of these stories have various writing styles and voices. You head downstairs to begin your first training session. Once you get downstairs and go into the A formal room. Inside is your supervisor Stephanie along with the rest of your staff members. Everyone in the group goes around and introduces themselves. So far your first impressions of your staff are alright.
