Letting your emotions take hold of you, you unleash a flurry of rapid swipes on the monsters chest. Losing control, you grab onto its neck and with one fast motion you throw it on the ground. Without a moments thought you thrust your fingers into its chest and rip out its large green heart, crushing it in your fingers and throwing it on its ravaged corpse. Black liquid staining everywhere, staining you.

Once on the ground you crush its head with your foot, white liquid covering the ground where you stand. Looking over at Shadow you see her demolishing a ravaged corpse of the other monster. You can see black staining the floor all around it.

"Ready!" Jessica says as she tries to walk through the automated doors and hits herself in the face because they didn't open. You realize this place doesn't have any electricity running through it. Karma opens them for her and she runs out into the main area, you following behind her. You could swear you know this place. Memories of this mall flood into your head... bad memories... always bad memories... you try to take your mind off of that. It's 100 years older then last time you saw this place. And time has definitely taken its toll. You walk through trying to take in everything your seeing. You quickly notice two monsters on the second floor. They seem to resemble humans, only taller with large red claws and a face like a dragons' skull.

"Lets go!" Jessy say gesturing to you. You run up the still escalator slightly behind Jessy... You think to yourself ""ωну ∂σ i кєєρ тнιηкιηg σƒ нєя αѕ 'נєѕѕу'؟ I αм נєѕѕу! ...σя мαувє... αм I נυѕт נєѕѕι¢α'ѕ ѕнα∂σω؟" Those thoughts depress you immensely. could you really just be Jessica's shadow? You flat out run up and punch the beast in the face, and it feels invigorating. Your fist sends white blood, or liquid of some form, flying out while its face practically collapses under the force of your fist. Almost disregarding your blow, it moves lighting quick grabbing your neck and lifting you off the ground. Not a moment to spare, shadow slices her hand through its arm, causing you to fall to the ground. Then Shadow begins to furiously decimate its remains.

Looking over at the ravaged corpse of the other one you can see black staining the floor all around it.

"Hey, wait up!" You say running behind her, Shadow a few steps behind you. As you are running you notice that some houses are worn down, and look broken into, while others are barricaded at the doors and windows.

After a few minutes your legs begin to get tired. Karma slows to a walk and then waits before turning the corner. "Beyond here is the market, once inside we may see monsters. Taking them out will be you and Shadows job. I need to save as much energy as possible for healing any injured people."

"How am I supposed to fight off those things!?"

"Well Shadow killed them before just by using her hands. I bet you could do the same."

You go outside your room and down the stairs again. Walking in the main room you look around. Fancy carpets, a piano, and the three people in robes.

"Before we start, let us properly introduce ourselves." Möwe says while making a gesture with his hand. "I am Möwe, the girl beside me is Karma, and the boy is Cytus."

You examine their appearance:

Cytus has deep blue hair that is longer in front then in back covering most of his left eye. Burning red eyes and a somewhat attractive face.
Möwe has short brown hair, chiseled facial features. bright yellow eyes, Height maybe around 5'11-6feet.
Karma has has long blond hair, looks Japanese, wavering green eyes, and large breasts.

You respond with "My name is Jessica, Jessy for short."

Karma smiles "Well its good to know we got the right person." The smile quickly fades. "This might be a lot to take in all at once, but you will have to trust us. On the night of your death-" Your mind begins to race. Thoughts ablaze all around the subject, what death??? "-the world went into chaos. Everyone that recently afflicted an evil to another person became a monster, all starting with the people that killed you."

Möwe interrupts "That being said most of the population survived, But the monsters populated as well. Soon enough they outnumbered us humans. But on that first night a light was gifted to a few people. All of them connected to you Jessy. They were given powers like magic, and those powers got passed on to another when they die. After almost 100 years mages discovered how to resurrect people. Unfortunately most of those mages are dead or hiding and the world is on the brink of destruction."

"Please understand," Cytus says to you "You could be the final hope of the world."

"Yeah well, it doesn't look like its so easy on you either." You say looking around.

"Now that you killed the demons-" He looks up at you, trying to put on a smile "You can feel free to look around, make you and... the other you?, feel at home."

You look back at the dark outline to see that its becoming a faded image of... someone resembling you taking shape within the outline.

The taller man addresses you, "My name is Möwe, take the stairs in the main room up to the 4th floor. You and.... whatever that is can take the two rooms up there. Get adjusted and come back in about 5 minutes. We will try to catch you up on everything then."

She says that there was an accident on the road, that she is fine but you will have to find a way home and or stay with a friend.

You continue to speak to yourself running through what had just happened.

"I was at the mall with Julian... and then, I was walking home... Then the light."

Tears form at your eyes as you begin to cry.

After a minute you wipe them up and decide to head downstairs.
