You kneel down and take some of the growth for scientific purposes. However, as soon as you take the growth, everything goes black. Soon, you hit your head on something. You find yourself on the bridge of a federation starship. You're rolling on the floor as the ship tosses. You hear a woman's voice. "What's our status, Lt. Kosatka?" A woman standing at the back of the bridge answers. "We're being buffeted by a strange energy field. . . Are you OK, ensign?" You realize Lt. Kosatka means you.

== Sub Categories ==

I noticed that in SSR you have a separate category for all of the locations in that story. I was wondering if this is something that should be done for all non-story pages of an adventure. In my story, War of Nations, I do have a couple of spells with links that aren't related to the plot but instead explain what the spell does. Also, second question, Should I begin all of my options with War of Nations/ or is it okay to remove that part? Thirdly, how exactly do I create a category?

*I created the location subcategory mainly so I could track how many pages are in a given location and make it easier to get to pages in a given location. From a location's page, I can click on "What Links Here" and see all the pages in that location. If you want to make a subcategory for spells, feel free.

Should you begin all options with War of Nations? It's up to you. Adding that to the option name does keep you from accidentally crossing pages with another story.

Creating a category is much like creating a regular page. Type <nowiki>[[Category: Category Name]]</nowiki> on a page and the page is now categorized. Click on the red Category Name and you go to an index page showing all the pages in the category. No doubt an hour's travel inland would expose the country for the mess it was. At least it wasn't too hot, and it could only smell better than the hold of the Dutch freighter you had hitched a ride on.

You disembark with your rucksack, your Glock, and the sun in your eyes. A peasant boy trys to pry your pack away from you, so that he could carry it and then ask for a tip. You shoo him away and look down the dockyard to see if you can find Mr. Rezvy.

A portly man with a graying beard and a Hawaiian shirt walks up to you, a cigar between two meaty fingers. He grins and sticks out his hand.

"You are the beacon, yes?"

Normally you don't like being called in the middle of the night, but the words "five," "million," and "dollars" was enough to wake you up.

Unfortunately, you knew what you would have to do to get it before Mr. Rezvy even got to the job. Money like that isn't given out for anything short of what you did in Palinero.

Palinero. Where you fought the old war. They called you "Beacon" for your propensity for providing some hope to Palinero's poor. It seemed so long ago, but it wasn't. You're sure most would like to think that you've become a different person since those days, but deep down you knew you would be accepting whatever dirty work the smooth-talking Russian had for you before he even gave you the details.

Five million dollars. Shit. You thought you had found a nice little corner of the world here in Cape Town, where nobody knew you and you could live in peace. Not like a king, perhaps, but the interest on your Palinero money would have been enough to ensure you didn't have to do an honest day's work ever again.

But still... five million. And you always did like the idea of living near the Mediterranean.

So what is "A Random Story About Random Stuff"? Pretty much what it says. You just have to go through the game clicking one of the options and random stuff will happen. Trust me, if you can guess what will happen next, you've either gone through the game or you have sixth sense.

Now this game is FAR from finished. In fact, I don't think it will ever finish. I can't think of where to finish it and any logical way to finish it. If you see all red links, looks like you'll have to think of a different way to go. If you see something that looks like '''YOU LOST''', well, you lost!
