Pokemon: Takedown

Sqirtle used takedown but missed.
Meganuim used frenzy plant and sqirtle looked like it was going into a withdraw position but came out with a rapid spin, spun the frenzy plant away and smashed Meganium, KOing it.
Then Squirtle started glowing, it evolved into Wartortle!!
"So you are tougher than you look, well it looks like we have to hold up our end of the bargain and give you these" 1 of them said handing over the little pokemon."It looks like we've gotta go" then they blasted off.
Just then professor oak came by.
"Hello, have you seen any missing pokemon?" he asked.
You told him what had happened and afterwards he told you that he had heard about the pokemon robbery and came looking.
"So now i'll take the pokemon back to the lab to get them back to their proper region, but, by the way, since you did save them, it would only be normal if took one with you"
So which one shall it be?

'''Plot:''' If you've ever played any of the main Pokémon games or watched the animé, then you should already be able to tell what the plot is. To put it simply, you're a Pokémon Trainer. You start out in one of the four main regions based on the handheld games, obtain a Pokémon from the corresponding Professor, and set out on your journey.

Only this time, you aren't limited to getting eight gym badges, stopping Team Whatever, and becoming the Pokémon League Champion. I mean, sure, you can follow that formula if you really want to... But what's stopping you from joining Team Random and quickly ascending to the top of that crime syndicate's boss ladder? Or what's that, you want to BE a gym leader and crush the dreams of all the aspiring trainers that challenge you? Fine by me. Feel like traversing through all the regions and catching every single Pokémon? That will take awhile, but go for it. I will say this though, for the sake of starting out, you're still a kid. I won't go that harsh on you and make you ten, but instead you're going to be fifteen. Somewhere along the way there will be a way to choose your gender, but for now, everyone you meet will assume you're a boy. You'll have to prove them wrong by branching off the story.

This is an open-ended Pokémon adventure. Do what you want, as long as you do it in a grammatically-correct way, that is. Also, be realistic. No, your Charmander isn't going to evolve straight into a Charizard after battling one Pidgey. And no, that Charizard isn't going to fly you directly to Mewtwo only to have it beg you to let it be your Pokémon before promptly catching itself in one of your Poké Balls. I mean, come on... Sure, you can certainly catch Mewtwo eventually, but like I said, be realistic and have your story make sense.

With all of that said, there's only one question remaining: Which region do you want to start your adventure in?

You take your rubber globes out of your backpack and a rope. You hated to do this but Pikachu wasn't leaving you much choice. And without him you couldn't start your journey. You put the rubber globes on and held Pikachu down on the floor as you tied the rope around him. He didn't like this one bit and released a lot of Thundershocks, which of course couldn't hurt you as you were wearing rubber globes. You then said bye to the Professor and left, dragging Pikachu down the road. A lot of people stared at you thinking it was funny that you had to drag your Pokemon around like that. You dragged Pikachu all the way out to Route 1. You then stopped and leaned down to talk to him,"Come on Pikachu. Can't we just get along?" You begged. But by now Pikachu was so pissed off that he wouldn't even answer you. Just then a wild Pidgey appeared. What will you do?

As much as you want a Pokémon, and as much as you've been looking forward to this day, you just can't help but feel that this Pikachu wouldn't be right for you.

"Um, no thanks, Professor..." you say, not wanting to sound rude.

"No, no, that's perfectly alright. I understand." Professor Oak walks back to the other room to return Pikachu's ball. "Is there anything I else I could assist you with? Perhaps a tour of the Pokémon preserve, out back?" he says as he enters again.

That does sound interesting, you think, but before you have a chance to respond, a phone starts to ring on the wall opposite you. "Hold that thought," Oak says as he crosses the room to answer it. As he picks up, a video showing a man's face starts on a screen above the phone. "Oh, hello Bill!" Oak says before dropping his voice, leaving you unable to hear the conversation.

They talk for a few minutes before you hear a metallic sound. You look to see another Poké Ball materializing in the center of a device sitting next to the phone. The two talk for another minute or so before Oak hangs up and the video disappears. Holding the new Poké Ball in his hand, the Professor walks back over to you.

"Sorry for that, that was Bill, the genius behind the computerized box system that all trainers come to know and love. Anyway..." Oak gives you a penetrating look before continuing. "It appears that one of his prized Pokémon had an egg while left at the day care. It hatched today, but Bill had no use for it, so he thought it would be best to give it to me to be raised in the preserve. What I have here in my hand is an Eevee. Quite an unusual little Pokémon..." The Professor pauses again to give you another look. "Given your situation... I've decided I'll let you take this Pokemon as your starter... if you're up for it."

You can't believe this! Eevee is supposed to be a fairly rare Pokémon, and here it's being handed to you. Still though, you give it a moment's thought before deciding.

You say,"Sure why now?" After all Pikachu IS the only Pokemon the Professor has left right? Prof. Oak goes over to pick up Pikachu's Poke Ball. He hands it to you. Right away there is a flash of golden light in the palm of your hand. Pikachu appears on the table looking up at you. It blinks,"Pikachu." It said. "Awww! It's sooo cute!" You say as you pick up Pikachu. Right away you feel a sharp jolt of pain going though your body. Pikachu is shocking you.

Right away you let go of him. Pikachu falls down to the floor landing on his feet with a,"Pika." Prof. Oak hands you your Pokedex and five Poke Balls. You take them. You then turn to Pikachu,"Ok, let's go!" Pikachu refuses. He doesn't like you one bit, and refuses to go with you. What will you do now?
