Distant mountains look down on a lush jungle. The sun sits high in the sky, causing steam to rise from the foliage. Two arwings sweep over the trees, the light glinting off their armour. The sky around them is filled with movement and noise as various birds and other creatures of the air investigate these strange visitors. In one cockpit sits a young fox in full combat gear, intense eyes focused straight ahead, clearly oblivious to all but whatever target lies ahead. In the other cockpit lounges a beautiful young blue vixen, skintight flightsuit unzipped in the front to reveal a hint of luscious curves. Her dreamy eyes wander as she revels in the sheer volume of life around her. An ornate staff sits propped behind her seat, in sharp contrast to the heavily armed fighter. Her name is Krystal. This is her story.

Krystal basks in the heat of the day as she watches the various species circle and dive, allowing the autopilot to take over. She can see them calling to each other, but the cockpit is designed to remain sealed in space and blocks out all sound. However, her innate abilities allow her to feel the emotions of those around her. At the moment, that means a blend of curiosity and the joy of flight. There's something else amidst the cacophony too, but it's distant. It's probably just one of the many life forms in the jungle below, and not important either way. Turning her attention back to the creatures around her, she thinks how wonderful that wind must feel in this heat as the small cockpit begins to feel a bit uncomfortable.
