Your senses are sharp and something inside you tells you to avoid the direction of the relaxing sound. As such you move towards the wooden structure. Light escapes the structure and as you move closer you can hear the sound of steps. Hiding yourself among the foliage you peak inside and see two creatures similar to the wizard that created you, except younger. It was a male and a female. The male was tall and hairy, his face covered in brown hairs, wearing simple clothes covered in dirt. The female was the opposite, she was smaller and had a clean appearance, her brown hair reaching her shoulders, wearing a simple dress.

"Urgh..." The man grunts as he drinks from his mug.

"Was the hunt bad, honey?" The female asks as she cleans the dishes.

"Yeah, for some reason the animals have been scared lately. Even the bears don't want to leave their caves."

You hear them for a bit longer and realize that they are a couple. If you want to claim the female inside you will have to get rid of the male first. This might prove difficult since you are weak and hungry right now, however if you catch them of guard, it might be easy to take your prize.

After a couple of months you finally saw the results of your mating as Nerubi laid two large eggs. At first she was surprised since nymph are still mammals and the pregnancy cycles happen in their wombs. However she easily accepted it as a side-effect of being your mate. When the eggs hatch you both look in wonder at what seems to be two miniature versions of yourselves. As the years passed, you had more and more children. Your offspring consisted of female nymphs, male insectoids and a couple male and female hybrids.

Both you and Nerubi made sure to take care of the offspring. The two humans that had resided next to your lake had also been productive and had a couple of children running around. As new times would reach, the nymphs extinction would stop and they would become an all female race, depending on your race the insectoid to breed with them. In addition to that, because you helped those two humans, their children would eventually expand the house into a village that would protect and celebrate both your races.

While problems appeared here and there from your race, your kind and affectionate nature passed on to your offspring creating a race of powerful yet compassionate beings. Nowadays both you and Nerubi have lost your sex drive but continue to stay together until both of your last breath.

Looking at how peaceful Nerubi rests in your embrace, you are reminded on what she went through this day. As such, despite your cravings you hold back your lust and fall asleep.

For the rest of the week, Nerubi is stuck inside the cascade resting her wound. For nymphs their tails are extremely important for swimming and while she could swim without using it, it would be extremely difficult for her to not use it by mistake. As such until her wound heals she can't put stress on her body. Luckily for you, the female human you brought is learning magic and has accelerated the process. Speaking of which, for the first days the humans were perfectly fine with staying inside the cave. However, soon the female human started to feel numb and tired due to your smell. As such, right now you are helping the man build a cottage near the lake.

It's not the best place to hide, but you reason that just having you around makes them feel safe. Your vocal cords have developed by now so you can communicate with others more easily, however you are not used to talking and as such rarely use them.

"Wow, typically it would take a whole week for two people to build a simple cottage, but your strength comes really in handy for this type of work."

The man praises your strength, it was a simple task, cut down trees and stick them in the ground. Both of you had started yesterday and had completed today. It wasn't an incredible structure, but it served its purpose for now. Despite helping them you are still hesitant with the idea of having other sentient beings living next to you.

When night arrives and both humans walk inside the cottage you return to the cascade.

"Ah little one, my tail is almost healed. Sarath told me I could swim again, although I shouldn't go wild."

You sigh of relief, your hands brushing her hair.

"Hmmmm, you really are holding back, huh?"

Her hands grab your arms and she pulls you in her embrace. Her hands move to your back sack and start to caress it. You grunt at the sudden stimulation, but understand where this will lead to and open it to allow your organ out.

"No, not here, let's swim..."

Dragging you down, she pulls in to the water. You both swim towards the middle of the lake. It's dark and you can both barely see each other. Two lonely bodies floating in the middle of darkness. You pull her in your embrace, both your mouths meeting as you nibble her lips and tongue with your mandibles. Your appendage wraps around one of her thighs as it rubs against her entrance. She climaxes and you manage to retreat your mandibles just before her teeth bite them off from her clenching. Still in your embrace you penetrate her slit, thrusting your appendage her hold on you grows stronger as she soon climaxes again.

After your intense love making, you both float to the surface. Nerubi once more plans her mouth on yours, this time only for a moment.

You are in a hurry to find help and conclude that if you help those two that they will help you back. You jump down and land hard on one of the soldiers, knocking him out instantly as his face hits the ground. The other soldiers look at you, at first they are confused but soon they take out their weapons and charge at you. The first thing you notice about them is how fragile they are, when the first human charged at you, you simply swatted him away, sending him flying like nothing. Soon you found yourself in the middle of a pool of blood and guts as you slaughtered the soldiers without difficulty. Their weapons would simply bounce off your shell and your sharp hands would easily dig through their armor.

"What is that?!"

You hear a feminine voice franticly demand. You look at the two cloaked figures, the one wielding a sword positioning between you and the other cloaked figure. You helped them and yet they are terrified of you. It doesn't help that your vocal cords are still underdevelopment and you'll only able to make grunt sounds. As such you merely point in the direction of the lake, hoping that they will just head that way.

"Why are we still here?! We should be running away from it!"

The smaller figure demands in her panic. You can presume her to be a female.

"Calm down. Did you see what it did? If it wanted us dead, no amount of running would save us.... You there, you want us to go in that direction?"

The larger figure asks. you can presume him to be a male. You nod and jump up towards the trees.

The woman complained as we arrived to the lake. I point at a small stone path that leads to the cascade.

"Calm down, he saved us right? If he just wanted to eat us, he could have done it a million different and easier ways."

The man calms down the woman, but to little avail. You on the other hand are a bit uncaring towards their exchanges. You just have one objective in mind. Using the stone path to show them that it is safe, you enter the cascade. Entering you find Nerubi, already awaken and taking care of her wound by cleaning it. It was swollen and covered in white mucus. It seems like it was already infected. You run to her side.

"Huh? Little one? You have returned?"

Nerubi voices her surprise. Having woken up alone she must have presumed that you left like she asked.

"A Nymph?!"

Nerubi looks behind you to the two figures that you brought.

"Wow, to think that the insect would bring us to a Nymph."

The man looks in wonder as if he had seen a rare sight. The woman beside him on the other hand pushes him aside and kneels next to Nerubi.

"Oh god, this wound..."

Nerubi looks at you with stern eyes, but quickly gives up once you start to wave your arms around to explain her.

"Young humans, I am sorry for having this little one bother you. He's very protective of me and did not know what to do when I got this wound."

Nerubi explains to both the man and the woman. Their conversation continues for awhile, as both sides explain their situation. It seems the two humans are running away because the woman is a witch apprentice, while the man is her lover. They were trying to find a place to hide and they were ambushed, you were able to reach them in time to save them from a horrible fate.

Looking once more at Nerubi's wound you give her a weak push to remind her of her predicament. She looks at you for a second before petting your head. After a couple more minutes Nerubi begins to negotiate. They could hide inside the cascade in the second hole you made for as long as they weren't hostile. In return they had to help treat Nerubi's wound.

After extended hours of treatment, the female human was able clean and cut the infected flesh, leaving behind a stitched patch. Meanwhile you went outside, the boar that you had left behind was gone, so you had to hunt some fish to eat. You bring enough fish for the four of you. You rest beside your mate, her head resting on your chest. You had thought that both of you were already mates, however from Nerubi's perspective your whole relationship was more a fun adventure than an actual serious partnership. That is until today, clinging on to your body, she sleeps peacefully knowing that you will be there for her in the future.

While you couldn't tell what the cloaked figures were you could see that one of them had a metal stick pulled out while the other one had a large wood stick. They seemed to be in trouble.

As if you could leave her alone after the time you both spent together. For her it might be just a few days, but for you it was the first days of your life. You ignore her push and move closer, pulling her head to your chest, your do your best to try and fix her hair as a way to reassure her that you won't be leaving her. You can hear her sighing in defeat. After a few minutes Nerubi falls asleep in your arms. Sensing her stress gone, you examine her wound. It's no longer bleeding but it's only a matter of time before it becomes infected. You leave the cascade.

Now outside you wonder where you can search for help. Nerubi was your first real interaction with another sentient being, as such you have no idea where others like her could exist or what their disposition towards you could be. Jumping up to the trees, you use your antennas and search the general area.

Insectoid- Hunt for a bigger game

You decide that you what to eat some meat today. Leaving the lake you quickly shake off the water on your body and move through the forest. After some time you find some sort of four legged creature with a flat nose and tusks coming out of its mouth. Dashing at it you headbutt the boar's side with so much force that the boar simply whimpers on the ground until it eventually dies from having his organs pulverized. You gut the boar and taste the meat to make sure it taste good. Satisfied with the taste you take the boar back to the lake.

As you arrive to notice a strange scene. The lake is calm, looking down you see only fishes swimming underwater. That was strange, Nerubi would normally be swimming in the lake by around this time. Jumping on the water, you swim back in to the cascade. To find a horrifying scene. Pinned on the ground, Nerubi laid against her will as a male Nymph raped her. Nerubi had several bruises and small cuts, nothing serious with the exception of a large gash across her tailfin. You are furious, even though the male Nymph is twice your size, you take advantage of his distracted state and grab on to his tail. Pulling with all your strength, you drag him down underwater. A mistake that you soon realize, taking only a few seconds to compose, the nymph swims away from you and then straight at you with his jaws open.

Thanks to Nerubi's training the other day you easily avoid the incoming attacks and once you gotten used to the pattern, you grab his tailfin and plant your feet on the ground, ripping off his tail and incapacitating his ability to swim. Now much slower than you, he can do nothing as you swim at him and pound his head at the bottom of the lake, over and over again until he is nothing but a dead body.

Returning to the cave, you find Nerubi resting against the wall as she tries to calm down. Seeing you come closer she relaxes and as you fetch some aquatic vines found in the lake, bringing them to her she fastens them around her tail to stop the bleeding. That said her wound was still in danger of catching an infection. You needed her treated, but had no way of doing it. Noticing your frustration, she sighs.

"Listen little one. The nymph race is dying, ever since a witch cursed us, our males have become aggressive and murderous. No female has ever survived mating with a male. As such I knew this day would arrive eventually. I had thought that perhaps before this day I could indulge on some fun. I never thought I would become intimate with a creature like you, but I have no regrets."

Nerubi lifts her hand and caresses your face, her fingers dancing along your blue exoskeleton.

"Even if I survive this, more days like these will come. If you are really adamant in making me yours, than you should know that today is just the beginning. It's best if you forget me and find someone less troublesome."

She gives you a small push and closes her eyes. You don't really understand much of what she said, only that she's going to die if left alone. You could listen to her request, you have gained a lot of knowledge and experience thanks to her and would be able to easily find a new mate. On the other hand, you have already heavily invested in her and you can't really imagine a better mate than her.

You take a free dive on the water. To your surprise it's far deeper than what you thought it would be. You are also surprised at how good of a swimmer you are considering this is the first time you are swimming. You suddenly feel familiar hands grab you from behind. Turning back you see Nerubi looking at you with curious and shocked eyes. She must have panicked when she saw you jump in the water, and jumped in after you to stop you from drowning. Something that doesn't seem to be a problem now.

Examining your body more careful, Nerubi smiles and pulls you deeper in to the lake. Her body swiftly dancing around you, you quickly learn that while she's sluggish and weak outside of water, when underwater she's fast and elegant. Compared to her you are like a snail, slow and clumsy. Nerubi spends hours teaching you how to properly swim and hunt for fish. A tiresome endeavor but that Nerubi is adamant in accomplishing.

Back inside the cascade, you rest your body over Nerubi's. You both cuddle together as she uses her large tailfin to brush the water off your body. Her hands gently embracing you as she softly kisses your head as you fall asleep.

You wake up earlier than usual and find yourself still in Nerubi's embrace as she sleeps peacefully. Gently leaving her embrace you jump in the water and emerge in the middle of the lake. You are hungry.

Insectoid- Try to charm the creature

You are dead serious about mating with the creature. However you are to weak to force yourself on her. As such you decide to go the old fashion way and to try and charm her. Lowering your head you make yourself look smaller to her to make her feel less threatened. You slowly take one step at a time making sure to allow your smell to spread and reach her. As you get closer you notice her eyes slightly foggy as if she's in a trance.

Once you are within arms reach you slowly touch her legs. She moans slightly at the gentle touch. Taking her moan as an indicator you move even closer, reaching your mouth to her breasts as your mandibles gently nibble on her breast and nipple.

"Hmmm, I wonder if you can understand me?"

Both her hands reach your head and turn up to her face. Both of you look in to each other's eyes as your hands still move slowly to massage her legs. You nod your head slightly.

She sits next to you and gives you half of her fish. Afterwards she makes you a series of questions regarding you, but your lack of ability to speak makes it difficult to answer outside of yes or no questions. By the end of the exchange you have learned that the creature is a Nymph named [[Insectoid- Nerubi| Nerubi]]. Outside of hunting underwater her kind will usually sing to attract preys. You can also notice that she's extremely clingy to you.

Description:
Nerubi is a female river nymph that lives in solitude. She has an average height of 5'4. Due to being an aquatic race, she wears nothing as it would only hinder her ability to swim. She has long dark hair that reaches her waist. Her skin is light blue with fish scales covering parts of her body, most on her legs and arms. She has a perfect hourglass figure with ample breasts and wide hips. Her legs are long and instead of feet she has two large fins. She also has a large tailfin to help her gain speed while swimming. She has sharp honey eyes and long pointy ears. While her mouth looks human like it can widen more apart; her teeth are also sharp and serrated.

Behavior:
Nymphs are usually solitary creatures that are extremely territorial, hating the presence of other nymphs in their territory. They are known for singing melodies that attract the unprepared, to which are then dragged under water and eaten. Outside of their hunting habits, nymphs are known to be peaceful and carefree, taking their time to relax and have fun.
