You weave the spell, although you cannot be certain what it will do, or even if it is a spell. But then, the sand begins to shift all around you. A horde of rats begins to climb out of the sand, and descend from the cliffs, onto the beach. They swarm around you, a writhing mass of beady eyes and dark fur.
