Here is the cast of characters from the Mariposa Studios storyline in Furry World/Male Dragon-Rabbit. This is basically for reference when writing new pages that involve these characters, so you can keep their names, species, roles and personalities straight.
- Ron
Male dragon/bunny hybrid, actor. This is the reader's character. Lapine ears and feet (all other features are draconic), fiery red fur over parts of his body, purple scales over the rest. Very large cock and balls (by non-dragon standards, anyway), extreme (bordering on hyper) stamina and productivity. Sterile due to being a hybrid - in this universe, hybrids are easily created but cannot reproduce due to genetic quirks. They still produce sperm (Ron does in great quantities), but they're "all blanks", as he puts it.
- Jenny
Female brown rabbit, actress. Ron's mother, veteran porn star at Mariposa Studios, assistant manager. (See her beach arc storyline)
- Lily
Female chinchilla. Receptionist/admin. Vivacious, peppy, speaks quickly, always eager to help.
- Barbara (Barb, "Mom")
Female snow leopard. Owner of the studio. Outgoing, very friendly, veteran actress, honest, and can take on any role instantly to help direct people. Many of the studio employees call her "Mom".
- Cheval (Chevy)
Male horse, older. Director and a/v technician. Direct, to-the-point, friendly and sincere. Occasionally co-stars in gangbangs and threesomes, and scenes written for an older man or couple. (See his storyline with Sam, his next-door neighbor for a younger version.)
- Jill
Female fox, actress. Very well-endowed - has the biggest chest of all the actresses. Vivacious, almost constantly horny, has an extreme fetish for cum, particulary loves making her body messy with it. Also loves scent play, particular trapping someone's head under her tail and making them breathe her vulpine musk. Behind Ron, she is the newest cast member at the studio.
- Rebecca (Becky)
Female black cat, actress. Sleek, lithe and flexible. Been with the studio for a year. Also has a fetish for cum, volume fan. Always pushes herself to her absolute limits to get what she wants, never backs down from a challenge. Has by far the most stamina of anyone at the studio, except possibly Ron. She and Jill are domestic partners, live together, and are said to be constantly going at it.
- Robert (Rob)
Male coyote, a/v technician and coordinator. Very good at what he does, but focuses more on his work than on personal interaction. Can seem cold and dismissive, but has a good heart. Not usually interested in "fooling around".
- Valerie (Val)
Female calico cat, actress. Flirty and seductive, very forward. Knows what she likes when she sees it. Also a bookworm. Specializes in videos involving seduction, foreplay, teasing her partner, and stripteases. Likes dirty talk.
- Jim
Male lemur, eunuch by choice. Jack-of-all-trades, does tech work, repairs, ordering, janitor tasks, and other behind-the-scenes work. Zero interest in acting or fooling around. Speaks with a country accent. Gruff, no-nonsense, and a bit rough around the edges, but a nice guy under it all.
- Tsu-Ni
Female Eastern dragon, actress. White, tall, slim, with long narrow muzzle, fine, shiny scales, and yellow hair. Closer to a Japanese/Chinese dragon than Ron's breed. Soft-spoken (with a very measured and elegant diction different from everyone else), friendly, open-minded. Mainly does simple things like stripteases and scenes involving romance and mild seduction. Also likes filming voyeurism scenes. Prefers shiny silk/satin clothing over most other types. Pitches in with behind-the-scenes work (cameras, control station, editing, and even some direction). She also occasionally plays music to be used in films - she plays both flute and piano.
She and Valerie are the two women most likely to strike up a long-term relationship with Ron.
- Florence (Flo)
Female rabbit, actress. Black and white, shorter and slightly stockier than Jenny. Shy and reserved, take a little time to warm up to new people. Prefers straight one-on-one scenes, plays the breeder part - many of her scenes include her using impregnation-fetish language, even though she's incapable IRL of conceiving. Also likes long-term relationships with co-stars, but is less likely to have one with Ron (more just wants to fool around).
- Candy (real name Shelly)
Female skunk, actress. Medium-tall, modest proportions, smaller chest than most. Has a rough-and-tumble appearance, white hair in a high ponytail. Manner of speech is a bit rough (can swear like a merchant marine when she wants to), but is very friendly and outgoing in her own way. Specializes in BDSM, dominance (dominatrix), and "harder" fetishes, including gangbangs. Also enjoys acting for mild violence, dirty talk, being a gang member, etc.. Probably the only actress at the studio that Ron will just be friends with. She also signs up to run the cameras for other shoots when she's not acting.
She acknowledges that the name "Candy" is stereotypical and not very original, but felt that it suited her interests and was a lot more fun than her real name, Shelly. Also, she voluntarily got herself de-scented (got her scent glands removed) to work in porn, because she knew that it would be all too easy for her to accidentally spray her partner, e.g. when she has someone rimming her (she loves that). That would almost always cause them severe problems (gagging, blindness, and of course stinking for days), and would stink up the whole studio. Her natural scent is similar to Jill's (minus Jill's musk), which many actors who work with her find quite enticing.
- Reginald (Reggie, Reg)
Male lion, actor. Tall and muscular. Has no problem with going around nude everywhere in the studio, often with an erection. Prideful, a bit egotistical, and prone to being judgmental even if he doesn't intend it (this is a quality most of the rest of the studio is weary of, but it's not bad enough to be a problem... yet). Barbara is keeping an eye on him to make sure it doesn't start causing friction. Frequently stars opposite Candy, enjoys many of the same fetishes and is good at both dominant and submissive roles. Happy to film both straight and gay scenes, participate in gangbangs and reverse gangbangs, and play roles with many different personalities. Has a background in Shakespeare performances and sometimes brings a dramatic flair to his videos.
As the top earner, Reggie believes he should get to do shoots with every female in the studio and on his terms. Tsu-Ni actively resists and avoids him, with Valerie as a close ally.
When Ron joins the studio, Reggie treats him like a newbie, but quickly becomes jealous of his growing success. When Ron and Tsu-Ni start going out, Reggie sees this as a direct threat to his dominance.
- Bill
Male badger, short and a bit stocky. Camera operator, video editor, script writer. A little on the lazy side, likes to talk about his work and his past. Not very interested in interacting with the actors more than he has to, prefers to work behind the scenes. Suggests to Ron that he consider manning the cameras sometime as extra help. Offers to mentor Ron. Is sometimes late to shoots, which Barbara finds irritating, but he always has a good excuse that keeps him out of trouble. (He is part of the reason Barbara has an on-time policy.)
- Stuart (Stu)
Male coyote, barista. Runs a coffee shop near the studio. Looks younger than he is, has a friendly disposition and likes to kid around with new people. Long-time friend of Tsu-Ni.
- Other characters
For the most part, we'll only introduce further characters here if they're essential for scenes. The collection above is pretty good for now, but as the story develops, we might have more show up. Otherwise, you can assume that any positions you'd expect to have someone in (e.g. cameras, director, etc.) are filled by generic "extras" that aren't important to the plot.
