If you're going to risk taking drinks from strangers, you might as well make them a little less strange. Tracing the circumference of your mystery drink with your left index finger, you motion across your arm with your free hand and point, mouthing: "Who's that?"
The stern face of the cyborgian bartender breaks into a subdued half smile, and his lips barely open. You can't make out the actual utterance that escapes his chrome-plated lips, but it seems like he's said "Zen."
You remind yourself to get high-speed ocular implants for lip-reading, because it sure as hell isn't your forte. Before you can ask for more information, the bartender's already serving another customer with the same rapid mechanical motions.
Great.
Well, at least it seems like "Zen" is a regular. That's a start.
