You shake your head. "No, I insist. I'm the one stopping you from getting it here...the least I could do it make sure you get it safely as well."
She chuckles a bit at you. "'Safely'? You're making it sound like you intend to be my bodyguard."
You give her a smirk in response. "Maybe I am...I wouldn't want anybody to hurt you, after all."
Kristen gives you a frisky smile, holding out her hand palm-down, showing you as her nails suddenly extend half an inch, growing much sharper in the process. "Never underestimate a cat's claws.", she tells you with a smirk, allowing her nails to shrink back to normal.
You gulp. Genes are a scary thing.
She holds out the hand she just used in her demonstration for a shake. "I'm Kristen."
You smile, holding your hand out halfway. "Promise you won't stab my hand?"
"No promises~", she purrs.
You chuckle, taking her hand anyways. "Nice to meet you."
She giggles in response. "Likewise. And don't worry...I only claw people whom I dislike."
"I'll be sure not to get on your bad side, then.", you tell her.
