She nods. "Indeed. The planet you know as Earth, the planet you grew up on... I'm sorry to say it no longer exists. It is a barren, nuclear wasteland, the only life on its surface that of archeological teams sifting through the ruins. At the conclusion of the Second Galactic Civil War, Old Earth was destroyed from orbit. It was the only way to ensure victory - the warlord was still a formidable foe despite his carnal obssessions and advancing years. The rebellion needed to make absolutely sure he was gone.
