On this hot day in the concert by the river, Zelda's heart beat frantically before even heading out from backstage. The stage was outside, so they prepped in a set of tents that held their costume changes. Several stage hands were now prepping their equipment.

"ALRIGHT!" Selena said while rubbing her hands together. "Today is the day!"

"For what?" Ali asked, unamused.

"For whatever we want!" Selena announced. "For all of us to get laid! For all the managers to want to represent us, or, fuck them, all the studios to put our album together!"

Zelda kept bouncing up and down, somehow thinking it would help calm herself. She had done concerts before, sure, but now there would be hundreds of people watching on an unfamiliar stage...

"I hope there's food here." Avery said while playing with the straps of her pants. "Or else everyone will be hungry."

Lulu tuned her violin for the tenth time, looking timidly to Zelda, then all the others. "I'm sure we'll all be fine. Zelda, are you ready?"

Zelda nodded and spun around, her hands on her hips. "Ready!" She moves next to the stage, still behind the curtain, seeing they were about to be announced.

"Song one is normal." Selena says in her fast, almost manic fashion. "Song two we bring out the knives and the blood! Song three we have a dance, then a wardrobe change after that. Song four we throw around a bunch of ribbons and get energy up as much as we can before the finale! Five! Blood! Knives! Dancing! Everything together!"

"And what am I supposed to do while you three change?" Ali asked.

"Tell a joke, why don't you?" Selena snapped back.

"I know at least two really good ones." Avery offered.

They were announced. Zelda ran out onto the stage, her vision tunneled to the microphone. She whipped up her guitar and looked back to see everyone else get into place. Zelda held up a hand while the crowd, only half aware after so many concerts, cheered. She had to get them going as much as possible.

The first song opened with a scream. It was strong and proud, without a hint of error until the second half when Avery seemed to be paying more attention to having the ability to push her piano around on wheels across the stage rather than playing. Zelda rocked her body and ran up and down the stage, getting at least the front row going with her beat. Only when nearing the end of the first song did things go truly awry.

There were threats of rain, and on a heavily electric concert like this, it could be bad. If anything shorted (with which the stage hands insisted everything would not), it would end the concert, and all future bands at the festival, immediately. Zelda could hear over the song and cheering Avery squealing in delight as the first droplets fell on them.

Not only was the warped wooden stage wet and slippery, but the instruments themselves were becoming harder to play. It was not a pelting rain, and honestly, it seemed to wake the crowd up even more. If Zelda played it out right, they might even come out the other end better than they started. The rain ended by the time they got to the end of the first song.

She had an issue of her guitar being wet. She saw that Ali had already mostly dried her own bass with her shirt without missing a beat. She could do things like that. Avery likely had not a care in the world, but if anyone was paying attention to her tight shirt they could note the general shape of her smaller chest. With the tube top under the shirt nothing was that noticeable, but the ties keeping her shirt together in the back were wet and hanging. The water somehow only made Lulu look more majestic, and with a ballerina like twirl that sprayed some water off her dress to get it from clinging to her legs, she was back in business. Selena in the back seemed to revel in the wetness the most. Her top, already completely loose around her shoulders, rode lower to show off her ample cleavage. She was far in the back, but she still leaned forward completely in between songs while yelling. In between the first and second song, Zelda could dry off her guitar to not worry about slipping up with her own shirt, but she had that jacket on. Alternatively, she could make up for any slips just by having that much more energy. This was the first gimmick song, after all, and involved Selena spraying fake blood and Lulu stabbing Zelda with a prop knife in a key point of the song.
