You live on the moon, which was settled 50 years ago. The moon is now more high-tech than Earth. It has a big city filled with futeristic buildings and a few small settlements. Your family was one of the first groups of settlers.
Your family controls most of the trade to and from Earth. You live in one of the mansions in the center of the city.
