Some things are better left alone. You sneak towards the door and leave your mother in the room.
Walking outside, you don't see much. All there is is another house belonging to your rival, Blue and the Professor's lab. A little boy stands outside your door reading the sign.
To the north, there is Route 1 and to the south there is Ocean Route 21. But you can't go either way without a Pokemon.
