Fully aware of how hard it will be to find the cargo by night all by yourself, you nonetheless decide to try. After all, if you don't find the Sten guns, then the Germans might. The problem is that there's a fairly vast area in which the cargo could have fallen. This area includes some woods, a farm, a vineyard and the outskirts of the town of Caen.
