- | Diaphenes was born translucent. He wasn't completely see-through, but he wasn't completely visible either. He was born in the city of Athens. He was the son of Selcareh who was the son of Zeus. being the grandson of Zeus he inherited his grandfathers strength. Now having godly strength he was able to do a many great things. some of which are the time he joined the great ships the Gogonauts in their adventure of the Golden Blanket. On the way Diaphenes was able to help them in their quest. One way was he helped build the ship any time they had a wreck. When they finally got to the island of the Golden Blanket he was able to help them locate the Blanket. He was also able to defeat the evil dragon. The monster kept blowing fire at Diaphenes, but it couldn't hit him because of his translucency. It had trouble finding him. He got the Golden Blanket and on his way back to the ship he found a statue of a old man. He went up to it and found another and another. Finlay he came to a cave were he found a whole room full of statues. He heard breathing and his accomplice look behind him and turned to stone.
