You wake up in the wilderness, in a small clearing. You sit up groggily and wonder where you are. Then you hear a rustling in the bushes beside the clearing. You grip you Crude Wooden Staff and stare into the leaves. Then a rabbit hopped out. You sigh in relief. Then your stomach rumbles. You're hungry. You have to hunt, or something!
"I'm so sorry, rabbit. " You mutter.
You have some knowledge of magic, and you know the easiest combat spell. You aim your staff at the rabbit and mutter under your breath. A bolt of light erupted out of the tip of the staff and hit the rabbit. It hops around in disoriented circles. You realize that you stunned that little critter. You make your way to the bunny and smack it repeatedly with your staff. You take the Rabbit Corpse and set up a fire. You roast the rabbit and eat it. Yum. Then, a wolf jumps at you.
