"Oh, Shit!" You say to yourself as you see your stepdad get out of the car. You knew he'd be back, but somehow you didn't figure out a plan for when it happened. You basically have two choices: try to sneak into the house and get dressed or hide in the fields until your stepdad comes to check on things and sneak into the house then. Neither option looks very good to you. You start to walk around the fields toward the back of the house. Every few minutes you stop, but never see your stepdad. You eventually make it next to the barn behind the house and wait for a few minutes. It's getting late and your stepdad is going to wonder where you are. You decide to make a run for it and head for the door. When you are halfway there, the door to the house opens and your stepdad sees you.

"What the hell are you doing?" He yells when he sees you. "Where are your clothes, girl?"

You didn't even think of an excuse. "I had an accident with the tractor that ruined my clothes," you lie.

"Liar!" He shouts. "I don't see any grease on you and look how tan you are. You make me sick. Leave. Leave and never come back."

"But. But," you stammer, "this is my home. What about my things? What about my clothes?"

"Why should you care?" He retorts. "You obviously don't want to wear clothes."

He pauses for a moment.

"You are no longer welcome here. Get off my property." His tone is so severe and serious that you know he means it. Not sure where to go, you slowly walk away from the only home you can remember.

That night you eat a dinner of wild berries and sleep in the woods.
