You walk on your tip-toes, very careful about turning corners or walking past open doors. You cover yourself with your hands when possible, only exposing your chest when you require a hand for something.

You feel a mixture of anxiety and arousal as you dwell on your current predicament, scenarios flashing through your mind of the many ways you could be caught. And what will you do if you are? How do you explain this?

Eventually you enter a hallway ending in a door, and through the door's window you think you can see the front desk. Up until this point, you have not had to open a door, and you know it will not be quiet enough.

As you approach the door, you suddenly backpedal as you realize that an office with large windows and a wide, open doorway overlooks a majority of the hall. Peering in for a look out of the corner of your vision, you can see a middle-aged man inside working at a desk and occasionally glancing around the room, obviously bored. Is this the manager, perhaps?

Well...

• Ask for the manager's help.
• Try my luck and sneak by.
• Give up and go back down the hall.
