"You know the layout of the castle better than I do, Annabelle," you say. "It'd probably be better if you went after the zombies. Are you experienced with weapons?"
"Not much with a bow, but I'm pretty good with firearms," the nurse answers. "I went shooting with my boyfriend a lot before...you know. Oh, and you can call me Ana."
"Take the rifle then, Ana," you say. "I'll take Holly's weapon. I've done a lot of hunting with a crossbow."
Annabelle picks up the late Jack's rifle and expertly loads it, then puts Jack's spare ammunition into her pockets. She tucks the axe into her belt. "Stay safe, Marina. Keep a sharp eye out."
"You too, Ana. Good luck."
Left alone, you pick up poor dead Steve's pistol and collect his spare ammo. You insert a full magazine into the gun and put the rest of the ammo into your pockets. You then collect Holly's crossbow bolts from the skulls of fallen zombies, put them into her quiver, and strap it and the crossbow to your back. The pistol is tucked into your pants.
You start working on the window. You nail several boards over it, then pick out two heavy cabinets and drag them one at a time in front of the nailed boards. You are almost finished when you hear a scream, followed by gunshots.
Whirling, you see Annabelle being chased by a large horde of zombies. She fires again, turning a few undead dead again, as you take aim with your crossbow and send a zombie's brains splattering with a steel bolt. You draw your pistol and begin shooting, dropping more creatures, but there are just too many of them for the two of you to handle. Then it gets worse. More zombies appear from the second exit to the living room.
Annabelle points to a small door on the far side of the room as she dispatches another zombie with her rifle. "Through there! It's the only unblocked exit now!" She waves for you to run, but she doesn't follow you.
"What about you? Where are you going?" you shout.
"I've got to rescue Joe! I can't leave him behind!"
"Ana, we have to run now or we'll all die!"
- Help Annabelle carry Joe out of there
- Try to reason with Annabelle
- Physically grab Annabelle and take her to the exit
- Leave Annabelle behind and run away alone
